SWAAT, and others, are available from Singleton Corp. Ideal for high-volume testing or over-sized parts, the test chambers include features such as Opti-Fog nozzles, self-regulating hu- midifying tower, and solution devices. A clear acrylic viewing window is pro- vided for test monitoring. Access ports, temperature recorders, and other op- tions are available to meet individual testing requirements.

Plate and Frame Filter Olds Filtration Engineering Inc. Daphne, Ala.

The Diemme Model ME-800 Plate and Frame Filter Press is a complete system, ready for connection to a main power source and to field piping. Com- plete with pneumatic controls it is used in the filtration of sludges containing chromium, aluminum, zinc, copper, nickel, or cadmium. The ME-800 is available with membrane plates, which can be inflated individually or in series by air or water, creating maximum cake density. These plates offer high performance at the lowest cost in re- ducing both moisture and cycle time.

Temperature Profiling Systems Tangent Systems Inc. Charlotte, N.C.

Tangent Systems has introduced the Coating Manager and Cure Report soft- ware for the company's in-process tem- perature profiling system. The Coating Manager and Cure Report Tools are spe- cifically tailored to meet the needs of powder coaters providing them with ac- curate analysis and documentation of the curing process. The Coating Manager allows users to define, name, and save an unlimited number of "cure ladders," which describe the curing process of a specific coating chemistry. The Cure Re- port generates specific statistics about

the process being analyzed including an algorithm that calculates acceptable cure. The Cure Report also displays the cure analysis, process information, and a customizable temperature graph of the cure in a convenient one-page report.

Wastewater Treatment Taskem Inc. Cleveland

Taskem Inc. has added Omega AP- 2180 to the Taskem Omega Wastewa- ter Treatment product line. Omega AP-

2180 is a nontoxic, anionic polymer in hydrated form, which contains a metal precipitant. It will react quickly at a pH level of 6 to 13 to flocculate metal hydroxides and precipitate residual soluble metals in the effluent. Soluble metal ions not captured by traditional metal hydroxide precipitation are com- plexed and precipitated by Omega AP- 2180 thereby lowering final discharge metal concentrations. Omega AP-2180 is compatible with tanks of plastic or mild steel. Pumps of plastic or any metal composition can be utilized.
