A Note from the Artist:

Hello and welcome!

Here you'll find unique, one of a kind, playful and colorful offerings of original fine art and

art prints including paintings, collage, pastel, still life, vintage images, abstract, expressionist,

impressionist, mixed media flower and garden art as well greeting cards, medium-sized prints and mini-prints.

Favorite mediums include paint, paper, glitter, feathers, gloss medium, pastel and lace. Works are inspired by

various impressionist, fauve, and expressionist artists including Monet, Manet, Bearden, Van Gogh, Degas,

Kandinsky, O'Keeffe, Matisse, Chagall. Themes include music, dance, nature, spirituality, transcendence. In

particular blues, folk, ballet, opera, roses, lilies, lilacs, angels, fairies, birds, vintage, popular culture, rebirth,

visionaries, heaven, mindfulness, and the afterlife.

It lies there like a Rorschach on the

side of the road,

the pond eye’s passing

or a nymph affixed with flying buttresses

The heaving cathedral

of a body brought down

and the ink of its unwritten history

staining the sands

on either side

More About the Author & Artist: Tess Farnham is an Adjunct Professor of

English Composition at Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) in Belleville. Ms.

Farnham is also an accomplished Artist and offers her original works and

reprints for purchase online. (TESSILU STUDIOS)

She has also served for two years on the Board of Directors for the Daniel

McCree Foundation, as well as contributing writer for MetroEast NEWS. Tess
