term 1 week 4 assembly changes

Term 1 Week 4 Dear parents & caregivers PARKING WOES AGAIN. Once again I am asking that parents do NOT park across our neighbour’s driveways. It is causing much angst and annoyance for families who cannot get into or out of their own driveways. The neighbours will be taking down number plates and a photo of the car and sending it to the local parking rangers for follow up. If you are picking up your child in the DROP OFF & PICK UP Zone, you cannot park there and walk into the school. Also please move to the furthest post rather than right in the middle of the zone. This then allows other parents to fit in behind your car. The staff and I are discussing other options to make this pick up time safer. One possible solution is that parents park on the oval car park and staff will walk the children down to the car park. We will trial this for this term. So please consider parking at the football oval and we will walk your children to you. This will start today. Thank you P&C A successful Mother’s Day stall was held at school over the past week or so. Thank you to the hard working P&C members who volunteered their time so readily to ensure your children had the opportunity to purchase lovely Mother’s Days gifts. Assembly Changes With the easing of some COVID restrictions, an invitation is now extended to parents of students who are hosting and performing the assembly item as well as for any students receiving all awards (Learning Awards, Truth Quality, Care Awards, Visual Arts, Gold Awards) as we are able to increase the numbers of adults attending indoor events. We will continue to have three assemblies: (K-2 at 9am, Stage 2 at 12.45pm and Stage 3 at 2.00pm) There won’t be any more photos of Learning Awards and TQC Awards as parents are now invited to attend the assembly to watch their child receive the award. COVID-19 Update : Sunday 9 May 2021 Wearing a face mask is not mandatory for parents and carers visiting schools. Events and gatherings on school sites, such as performances, productions, concerts, speech nights and award presentations are permitted. All attendees, including students, staff and visitors, including parents and carers, must be well and free of any flu-like symptoms. A COVID-19 Safety Plan is required if the event is held indoors with more than 100 external visitors or held outdoors with more than 200 external visitors. Singing by audiences is to be avoided. Staff and visitors to schools and offices should maintain 1.5m distance from other people where practicable. Avoid congestion of groups of visitors in specific areas where possible. All visitors to a school site must comply with sign-in arrangements for each visit. This includes signing the school sign-in sheet to acknowledge that they will comply with the COVID-19 requirements for visitors, contractors and service providers. Visitors must also check in using the Service NSW QR code. Thank you Mrs Karen Masciocchi (Principal) Gold Award Winners Term 2 Week 2 Leo W & Isabel H Congratulations

Dear parents & caregivers

PARKING WOES AGAIN. Once again I am asking that parents do NOT park across our neighbour’s driveways. It is causing much angst and annoyance for families who cannot get into or out of their own driveways. The neighbours will be taking down number plates and a photo of the car and sending it to the local parking rangers for follow up.
