Measuring Machine

Requirement of PPDC Supplier offer1. Scope: This specification covers supply of 3-dimensional Coordinate measuring

machine with high performance continuous scanning probing system, complete in allrespect in accordance with in curve, freeform metrology and reverse Engineering.

7. MACHINE FEATURES: Measuring Table must be made of Granite as per ISO/DIN 876-1 with threaded inserts

for clamping of work piece. The bridge cross beam and vertical spindle should be made of Ceramic or high

rigidity aluminium alloy to provide enhanced performance, thermally stable structurespecially designed and Engineered for carrying out high precision measurements of 3dimensional coordinates in a single set up from all sides and at an angle in flat and boxtype

The machine must be capable of complete automatic inspection and measuring ofprecision components and parts within the above-specified measuring range.

The machine should have latest technology, high-resolution scales on the entire Axis. The CMM machine must have low gap highly efficient coated air bearings, to give

excellent metrology datum on all axes. The machine should be supplied with dedicatedair dryer / filter / regulator required for cleaning / drying / regulating shop air beforefeeding to the machine.

The machine should have an integrated active vibration damping system to withstandfloor vibrations.

The machine should be capable of processing the measuring of all geometric

parameters, curve, freeform and reverse Engineering, including nominal/actualcomparison and evaluation of all form and position errors like flatness, straightness,roundness, cylindricity, parallelism etc. in accordance with ISO 1101(MMC)simultaneously after the same measuring run.

The control/operating panel should be standard, portable, with function keys andcomputer independent. Control joy stics for easy and more precise remote control of 3-Axis movement. Variable speed control in CNC modes. All machine movement controlsthrough Joystic. Software selection through computer Keyboard.

The machine should have Software Error Correction Program to bring all the geometricerrors like perpendicularity, pitch & Yaw error from the machine to within a specifiedlimit of machine accuracy and should be possible to carry out CMM Calibration at site.
