FloorShield Flame Retardant (FR) is currentlythe only breathable material on the market in this pricerange. Manufactured from a spun-bonded Polypropylenematerial that is fully accredited to LPS1207 and complieswith fire regulations associated with temporary protectionmaterials. Uses include temporary internal protection onbuilding sites, in factories, warehousing, showrooms,offices and most domestic situations. Laying & Jointing FloorShield FR should be doneon flat clean surfaces and is best laid in the longestruns possible for economy of use and ease ofapplication. Carpet Protector VCP1 is a heavy duty PVCcarpet runner that is ideal for medium to long termprotection on carpets in highly trafficked areas andcan be used in commercial settings with sustaineduse of industrial footwear and will give long lastinguse. The carpet runner has a robust diamondpattern on the underside to keep it in place but mayneed additional fixing on some surfaces.

TwinShield is a twin wall polypropylene board that istough, durable, impact/chemical resistant, non-toxic,waterproof and does not stain. Suitable for all roundprotection. LPS1207 FLAME RETARDANT has beendeveloped due to the increased concern about the role ofcombustible materials fuelling major fires. For this reasonwe have developed a fully proven range of flameretardant boards. TwinShield has met the very stringentquality control standards of the LPCB. The LPCB logo,registration number is printed on every sheet so that thecontractor can be certain that they are buying a fullyaccredited product.

Tack Mat - Low Profile Clean-offcomprises of hard wearing plastic layers coated inpositive adhesive which is non-transferable and anti-microbial. Each mat is only 4mm thick which enablesthem to be used under doors or when placed at theentrance to sensitive areas pedestrian traffic iscompelled to step-on and step-off the mat. Each sheetis peeled off individually when it is soiled and nolonger effective. Mats can be laid end to end or sideby side to achieve the desired size. Low Profile clean-off matting system has 60 layers per mat.

Rubber Matting is ideal for semi-permanentwalkways or cushioned slip resistant standing areas.Rubber matting can be easily cleaned and is unaffectedby temperature, providing insulation from cold concretefloors, which can inhibit blood circulation in feet.

Rib-mat is manufactured from hard wearing naturalrubber, has a slip-resistant ‘fluted’ surface and is idealfor use around workbench areas to prevent fragile partsfrom damage.

Combi-mat standard is an interwoven fire tested PVCmatting with open holes (22mm x 22mm) and isdesigned to protect operators from fatigue caused byprolonged standing. Fully reversible and resistant tomild acids and alkalis.

Drain-mat is the only ‘drainable’ rubber runner availableand provides effective slip-resistance in wet conditions,is hard wearing and fully reversible for long lasting wear.Drain-mat is easy to roll up and move - ideal fortemporary bars, kitchens and walkways, where spillageof water or drinks is common. It can be cleaned withease - hosed down or even pressure washed.

Circle-mat is a very tough, extra heavy duty rubbermatting. Open structure allows debris to be trapped.

Ideal for muddy, wet or icy ground conditions. Circle-mat can be laid end to end as a runner or in largerareas, also suitable for building entrances, temporaryoutdoor surfaces or permanent pathways.

Tack Mat - Heavy Duty Rubber Framedare free standing multi-layered, floor mats. The physicalpressure of standing on the mat ensures that any looseparticles on the soles of the shoe are detached andremain in the resin. Polymesh 150 is a clear reinforced non flameretardant waterproof polythene sheet, slip and tear resistantmembrane. Manufactured by cast extrusion coated LDPEonto woven monofilament yarns for extra strength making itideal floor protection for covering large areas, also suitablefor temporary glazing on site because of its durability it canbe stapled to window frames and will allow daylightthrough the clear polythene.

Megafilm and MegaShield protectionmaterials are available in STD and LPS 1207. Availablein several grades which span a range of protectionapplications from heavy duty site conditions through toprotection from dust, debris and liquid spills. All FlameRetardant products comply with the National BuildingSpecification (NBS) JCT and GCW Preliminariesclauses. Flame Retardant grades are manufactured andcertified under the Loss Prevention Certification Board(LPCB) approved scheme. All the grades give a highdegree of slip resistance in accordance with COSHH,HSE recommendations. Megafilm and MegaShieldproducts are backed by Megafilm technical support.

Sanitary Ware Protection is manufactured from standard twin wall polypropylene sheet and is also available inFlame Retardant LPS1207 on request. Sheets are scored to facilitate folding to the shape of the item to be protected.Supplied individually, flat packed for ease of storage on site and encapsulated in a polythene sleeve to keep it cleanprior to use. Our designers spent some time researching the sanitary ware market and came up with a size that we thinkwill fit all. However if it is too big it is easily cut to size with a trimming knife. All items of sanitary ware protection can becustom printed with your company logo. Please contact our sales office for further information.

WC Protectors with and without Cistern can be slotted together in seconds and placed over the WC toform a very strong lightweight cover that can be reused many times.

WC Covers are a cost effective method of protection designed to be used before and after the final inspection.Manufactured from 3mm twin wall polypropylene protection board.

WC Foamex Lids are manufactured from 5mm thick semi-rigid board which is designed to be used in propertiesonce the build is complete and are ideal for sealing toilets in show houses. Vanity Basin Covers are a cost effective methodof protection designed to be used before and after thefinal inspection. Manufactured from 3mm twin wallpolypropylene protection board.

Bath Protectors one end of the bathprotector can be cut on site to suit the tapsize and then pushed into place. Oncethe protector has been cut to size it canbe moved from plot to plot and can bereused many times.

Sanitary Ware Protection is designed to be re-used many times. Because of the unique slot together assembly of all the items in the range they can be disassembled after use andstored flat and then reassembled at a later date and re-used.

Basin Protectors come flat packed in one standardsize. They can be cut to suit all types of basin, from fullsize main bathroom basin to cloakroom flat to the wall, theprotector should then fit snugly around the pedestal. Oncea house set has been cut they can be reused many times.

Artstone Protection for TraditionalCavity Wall Construction has beendeveloped to replace plastic DPC which is widelyused as artstone protection, although it offers noimpact resistance, the only other alternative hasbeen home made timber profiles which are timeconsuming and expensive in labour and materialsto produce.

Flame Retardant Polythenes are manufacturedto LPS1207 and is a fully accredited product. Usesinclude covering office furniture, shop stands, gondolasand is a cost effective solution to flame retardanttemporary screen walling.

Debris Netting is a knitted fabric incorporatingbutton-hole eyelets for easy installation. Its open meshconstruction reduces wind loading on scaffold structuresand improves site safety by reducing the risk of smallobjects or tools falling outside the work area.

Standard DN green, flame retardant DN FR white - LPS1215 and compliant DN blue - a requirement for anyBritish Rail type work are available for next day delivery.

GeneralPurpose Tarpaulins are generally used for covering site materials and work areas againstthe elements. Hessian Frost Protection is used in the buildingand construction industries to cover concrete andbrickwork structures to provide protection against frostdamage. Hessian can also be dampened down in hotweather to slow the drying process to avoid cracking.

Frost Blankets are manufactured from closed cell hardwearing and re-usable expanded polyethylene and is asafeguard against the damaging effects of frost on new concrete. The large roll sizes give you both ease of handling on site and economy of covering large areas. Frost blankets do not absorb water and will float, which makes them suitable for use as a temporary cover on swimming pools in refurbishment projects but should be used in conjunction with other protection materials.
