In order to ask the time in Spanish you need to ask:

¿Qué hora es?

What time is it?

When you tell time in Spanish you will use the verb ser. Note that you use es when it is one’clock and son when it is any other number.

It is one o’clock Es la una.

It is two o’clock Son las dos.

It is three o’clock Son las tres.Use Es when telling time between 1:00-1:59Use Son for 2:00-12:59 o’clock
