Optical sources:- VCSELs at 1300 and 1550 nm- Self assembled semiconductor QDs material for 1- low cost DM QD lasers without optical isolator 2- Mode-locked QD lasers for optical generation of millimetre-wave sources
External modulators- Asymmetric Fabry-Perot modulator/detector- Reflective semiconductor optical amplifier
Photodetectors- Photodetectors based on GaAsNSb and GaInAsSb- Uni-Travelling-Carrier photodiodes- InP-based THz transmitter with antenna integrated
