TEKTUM designs and assembles in Australia a system-based range of modular homes – called HOUSE2.0.

The key innovation with HOUSE2.0 is the design mechanism that allows a full sized, fully featured building to be transported in standard ISO transport platforms, then merely unfolded on site, with all services and finishes in place.

The homes come in three platform sizes:

All are incredibly flexible in terms of interior fitout, and façade layout, to allow optimisation on a site-by-site basis.

The V-shaped roof is ideal for solar, which with the latest batteries innovations could reduce electricity network upgrade costs. They are ‘dual-piped’ as standard, and could have largely self-sufficient water systems, if this was an issue on any particular site.

TEKTUM’s Great Idea:

Install high quality homes on land which has a longer term alternative use; rent them through Link Housing for key worker accommodation; social, disability or other priority housing requirements; then simply remove and re-deploy to another site after an agreed period of time.
