How to Help Teens Quit Smoking?

Commands and threats aren’t likely to work. So...

1º -Ask teens what made them start smoking

2º - Encourage them to share their concerns

3º - Set a good example

4º - Help them to make a plan (eg.: set a quit date, hang out with friends who don’t smoke, practice saying no, contact a specialist, consider stop-smoking products, join a support group, learn from mistakes…)
