PERSONAL OPINION

„Personally I do not support teenage pregnancy if it is

not the plan that they want to have a baby. Otherwise I

would say that it is better that the girl keeps a baby than

has an abortion.“

If

we compare present and past we can see that they do not differ

so much in births among teenagers, but just in the reasons why they

became young parents. In the past it

was understandable having a

child at the age of eighteen or nineteen, because they did not go to

university. However, nowadays teenagers do not plan pregnancy,

nevertheless they become pregnant. It is because of unprotected

sex or during parties if they drink too much and do not know what

are they doing.

 

In my opinion teenage pregnancy is a reflection

of life nowadays. Although there are a lot of

warnings about unprotected sex, youngsters are

curious and let’s say irresponsible and because

of this girls become pregnant. In this case

abortion is preferred to keeping a baby.
