Project: Mixed use residential / luxury real estate development to be built on a peninsula on reclaimed land in front of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in Dubai.

The development included a total developed sqm of villas, stilish

urbanization, Apartments, luxury port and amusement areas. Total site area: approx 460.000 sqm, Total built area: 150.000 sqm.

TCC coordinated the definition of the project layout according to the Client‟s needs by integrating the multidisciplinary team.

TCC, as leader of a JV, supplied design, contract and project management services for the EPC contract to built the Olympic Village for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic games. TCC was also the leader of the JV appointed for the development of the project. The total surface of the development is of 60.000 sqm including 39 buildings hosting the athletes.

TCC carried out the design, construction management, procurement, contract management, testing and commissioning for the whole project.

Start – End: January 1992 – August 2012 The project consists of the 125km High Speed Railway link between Turin and Milan running along the existing motorway, crossing 4 provinces and 37 municipalities, including agricultural fields. A large number of interferences had to be solved as well as the integration of Technological Systems into the Civil Works.

The project consists of the 78km High Speed Railway link between Bologna and Florence crossing the Appennine Mountains with 77 km of tunnels and 1 km of viaducts. Logistics and contract planning were a challenge, together with the large number of interferences that had to be solved as well as the integration of Technological Systems into the Civil Works.

The Shah – Habshan – Ruwais is the first railway line built within the UAE. TCC, as JV partner, was responsible for delivering the Value Engineering and a substantial part of the Detail Design. TCC worked as advisor to the Client for solving the issued related to the mitigation of the effect of the sand on the trackworks, optimization of material the Non Objection Certificates by the local authorities.

The "Listbogen” building impresses for its excellent architecture, the only one in the city of Lipsia, joining functionality and aesthetic aspects.

Technological systems of the Centro Servizi (Lot G)

TCC developed preliminary, detailed design and construction of technological systems integrated to the complex architecture of the building and with high efficiency standards Due to peculiarity of architecture, together with functional and aesthetic standards required, the study of specific technical solutions was done both for the control of climate conditions of internal volumes and for active and passive safety of the building.

The centre, designed by the world famous Architect Renzo Piano, has a special volcano shape. The “ good volcano” arises on an area of about 260.000 mq and houses a hypermarket, one expo centre, one hotel, some conference rooms, one cinema and related tertiary activities.

Multipurpose Developments NEW INTERPORTO CAMPANO

TCC delivered the detailed design and construction contract for the refurbishment and upgrade of the Turin Palavela for a value of about 30 million Euro. The Olympic building hosted the skating and short track competitions and was financed by 2006. TCC advised the 2006 Winter Olympic Games Agency in regards to design, construction and architectural solutions and a Quality Plan including the organization modalities and for design and site management. The above items allowed a quick and effective contract delivery on time for the start of the Olympics.

Tecnimont Civil Construction worked on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the FIAT Lingotto Complex. The project included an Office Building, a Shopping Mall (20.000 sqm) and a Luxury Hotel (244 rooms). The Mall and the Hotel were designed by Renzo Piano. All Buildings have been renovated to international standards under the specifications outlined by Tecnimont Civil Construction,

construction of the Art Gallery under the design of Renzo Piano

TCC designed and managed the procurement, contract management and construction under a turn-key base contract of the “Giovanni and Marella Agnelli” Art Gallery,part of the Lingotto Complex. TCC advised the client in all the design and procurement choices in terms of contractual frameworks and technical solutions for a quick and on budget delivery of the works. The project included two phases: the first consisted in the restoration of part of the Lingotto complex, the „Torre Nord‟ section, for accomodating temporary exhibition areas, learning areas, meeting rooms, book shops and libraries. The second phase included a singular architectural element placed on top of the‟Torre Nord‟” roof. The element consists of a steel/glass structure, called “Scrigno” which contains the permanent collection of the Art Gallery This permanent exhibition area contains art elements and has a special light control system. The roof is made of glass and the light is controlled by means of a „flying carpet‟ system.

The new hospital complex develops horizontally and is formed by a central body where all the medical-technical departments , the consulting rooms and the surgeries are located. This central body is located on one side of the hospital gallery, which represents the core structure of the hospital and crosses the building from North to South, following the ground slope. The plan area covers approximately 25.000 m2 and the gross internal covered surface is approximately 88.400 m2, arranged on 5 levels which are not layed upon in a homogeneous way but degrade following the hill slope.

The hospital layout is formed by a central „square‟. The complex develops along horizontal routes and includes two building lots.

TCC managed and developed the design, procurement and construction of the hospital estate, on an overall area of approximately 100.000 m2, in the final layout, with 800 beds and 10 surgery rooms.

The services provided include coordination and technical advice, design, Construction Management, interface management, procurement management, contract management,facility management and testing and commissiong supervision for both traditional and medical systems.

TCCC in association with Foster & Partners from London carried out architectural advisory services, the design and construction management of the new University complex of the University of Turin. The project also included a landmark roof designed by TCC under the concept of Norman Foster. The total value of the works is 75 million Euros.

As General Contractor TCC has designed and built the Melfi SATA plant in less than 24 months, from the concept design to the full commissioning. The plant produces 400.000 cars a year. (Lot area:1.800.000 mq, covered area: 400.000 mq car parks: 115.000 mq)

The plant has been designed and developed In order to meet most recent trends of car production according to the principle of just in time. For this reason the traditional criteria of industrial design have been changed with methods complying with the highest flexibility of production line management and procurement

Design, procurement, Contract Management and construction of a new building complex composed of a multi-floor building for a call center and a training centre for staff in charge of costumer care (Overall area: 9.300 mq)

The complex is structured on three levels as follows: the first is linked to the factory through an internal square and includes a motor shop, technical departments and some warehouses; the second contains training center activities, while in the last level there are offices. From the road, the complex looks like a linear system with wide arcades. The building is surmounted by a roof with reticular beams, from which the arcades come.The arcades are also aimed at favouring the pedestrian way between the training center and the eastern car park. The outer shell of the building is made of prefabricated panels and big glass windows protected by sun shades of aluminium plate.

This new multi-function building is in a high visibility lot located in the Iveco industrial area in Turin. It is structured in consecutive linear spaces, gradually linked with green areas and the nearby road system.

The Industrial complex includes two production units. The Iveco Fiat plant produces over 25.000 vans a year, including all plants for painting and assembling. The Iveco Mercosul plant produces over 40.000 diesel engines.

The Group operated through its subsidiary in Brazil for managing the full project development of the plant, from FEED to Construction supervision and testing and commissioning. The total covered area is around 77.000 sqm.

Industrial Developments FIAT INDUSTRIAL CENTRE - SETE LAGOAS - BRASIL

Transparency of façades made of aluminium and optaline glass is a distinguishing feature of these buildings. The production areas can be easily admired from outside the buildings. The ventilated wall system is aimed to containing heat dispersion during winter and reducing transmission of solar radiation during summer.

The workshop was built in Maranello and is aimed to manufacture process of 14.000 engines /year for Ferrari and Maserati cars. TCC assisted Ferrari in the development of the project by providing FEED, Design, Construction management, Contract Management, Procurement Management, architectural finishing consultancy, supervision of Testing and Commissioning.
