The Technology Division and Lake Land College have several options to help you pay for your college experience. By attending Lake Land College, you are making a tremendous investment in your future for a fraction of the cost of attending a university, private college or technical trade school. The average cost for a year at Lake Land College is about $3,449, compared to regional technical institutes that range from $25,960 to $39,712.

The education students receive in this program extends beyond the classroom. Students complete SOEs, or Supervised Occupational Experiences, at area businesses. Similar to internships, students work under the supervision of a professional fine-tuning their technical skills and gaining valuable work experience to put them ahead in the job market.

Living LaboratoriesLake Land College technology students also live with a sustainability program. With a living laboratory including four wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, daylight harvesting, solar, geothermal and an electric powered Volkswagen, Lake Land students interact with the renewable energy equipment that is supplying Lake Land College’s energy needs.
