Past and Present

T echnical Supplies and Services Co. L.L.C. (Dubai) was established in 1961 as a trading

company dealing in refrigeration parts and accessories. In 1993, the company was

acquired by Basil Bahar who envisaged a need for a quality service provider for food service

and laundry equipment in the local hospitality and catering market. Using the enhanced

resources at his disposal and his past experience, he decided to diversify and established

a division with the sole purpose of providing industrial food service and laundry equipment

solutions to developers and operators in 1994.

The burgeoning hospitality sector of Dubai fuelled by the growth of the Emirate as a regional

trading epicentre and popular tourist destination along with our determination to provide the

best services, provided the environment conducive to TSSC’s rapid growth. In less than a

decade, TSSC became the foremost provider of industrial kitchen and laundry solutions in

Dubai.

Today, TSSC continues to provide complete customer care for the food service and

laundry industry. From design of the facilities to installation of the wide ranging equipment

required for operation and training the operators, TSSC can provide a one – stop solution

for discerning clients. Whether it is a single item or a complex facility involving specialised

areas with numerous items, our solutions always include impeccable after sales service

and the enviable resource of the vast experience and dedication of our management and

personnel.

Design Services

W e can provide a complete kitchen and laundry technical design consultancy through

our in-house CAD design department. Comprised of qualified and experienced

personnel, we can provide quick generation and turnaround of drawings giving developers

and operators the ability to make decisions quickly.

For large and complex food service equipment projects we work closely with leading

kitchen design and management consultants from Dubai and overseas. Our clients benefit

from working with qualified industry professionals who have the experience required by

developers, architects and catering professionals.

With our associates and suppliers, we create cost effective designs and proposals. We

design and specify installations that reflect the maximum value for the client, in terms of

cost, efficiency and practicality.

W e constantly monitor the market for the latest equipment, keeping abreast of the

latest technologies and quality standards.

While we represent many manufacturers for various food service equipment, we can,

maintain our independence when providing this service by offering alternatives to our own

products if such is preferred by the client or the purpose. We are proud of the fact that the

manufacturers represented by us are mostly market leaders in their respective segments

and continue to share an equal and even higher commitment to quality in their products

& services. All our products have impeccable performance records and are continually

specified by many leading catering professionals from the world over.

Through our associate company TSSC (Sharjah), we are able to supply complete cold

storage solutions to the hotel, catering and commercial markets.

Equipment Specification


W e have extended the planning, scheduling and controlling approach to include

customer care at every step during and after the project life cycle.

We oversee the project from design to hand over and training for the operators personnel.

By utilizing our in-house resources as well as those of our associate companies and

specialised manufacturers / vendors, we ensure that the installation is completed on time,

within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

For large projects, we insist on a full time project manager being on site until hand over of the

installation. From the installation of a few pieces of equipment to complex larger installations

involving thousands of items for numerous speciality outlets, our project personnel bring a

wealth of experience and skills honed by their years in the field to ensure timely and efficient

execution of the project.

Project Management

A t TSSC, our commitment to quality is second to none. The majority of our product

line is ISO 9000 approved and the manufacturers follow the highest international

quality standards certified by the relevant regulatory authorities in their respective regions/

countries. We ensure that the quality of the equipment and installation matches the quality

of the location and the expectation of the customer.

We have retained an independent quality management consultant to implement a continuous

quality system into all our operations.

Our engineers and technicians have undergone training at our key supplier’s facilities so as

to ensure they meet their quality requirements as well.

Quality Commitment


Our installation and maintenance personnel are trained in and familiar with not just our

own product range, but also with a wide variety of Food Service, Cold Storage and

Laundry equipment employed in the market through other vendors.

Our engineers and technicians have undergone training at our key suppliers’ facilities to

ensure that the installation is right first time. We maintain a sizeable in-house inventory of

spare parts to minimise any down time of our installed equipment.

We guarantee all our installations for one year, and all equipment is also backed by the

respective manufacturers’ warranties for the same period. A 24 hour emergency callout

service on all days is also available along with extended warranty and equipment maintenance

services.

Our spare parts division includes a showroom for independent units’ sales of refrigeration

& catering equipment parts.
