TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Stork Cooperheat’s Automatic Thermocouple Attachment Unit (TAU) enables direct attachment of thermocouples to a work piece using the capacitive discharge method. This technique was pioneered by Stork Cooperheat and has since become a recognised global standard. By reducing the risk of expensive rework, due to thermocouples breaking off during the heat treatment process, this innovation provides a high integrity welded connection which provides reliable and accurate temperature control and recording. The Stork Cooperheat TAU has a unique automatic operation feature overcoming difficulties associated with manual attachment units which require both hands to operate.
