DR. ANGELO BANZIItaly - Banzi dental clinic

Graduated in Dentistry in 2009 at the University of Ferrara with the highest marks, he is a member of Dr Banzi Associated Dental Clinic where he privately practices. In 2011 he attended the Second Level Master in Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Bologna. In December 2012 he improved his knowledge by participating in professional courses ( theoretical and practical) of advanced implant surgery at Dentistry Association of the brazilian state of Sergipe. In June 2013 he participated to theoretical and practical advanced implant surgery at Portuguese Association of Odontology. He also keeps himself continuously and constantly updated by attending advanced courses on topics related to ‘Conservative dentistry”, endodontics, implants, periodontics, and orthodontics with particular attention to posturology. He is now completely experienced in Computer Guideded Surgery Implantology, after the planification of many projects and surgeries in his clinic.

DR. CLAUDIO BANZI B&B Dental’s founder

Graduated from the University of Bologna in 1980 with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery, and specialised in Odontostomatology at the University of Modena in 1985. Scientific director of B.& B. Dental, Author of the Duravit Implant method and certain European patents on materials for bone reconstruction in the Maxillofacial district. Speaker at national and international events on advanced implant techniques. Author of national publications on issues in implants and reconstruction. Currently a self-employed professional in Bologna.

MR. SIMONE BANZI B&B Dental’s general sales manager

Since the beginning of B&B Dental he has actively taken part in designing the products alongside the inventor of Dura-vit implant system, Dr. Claudio Banzi. Over the years, he has shared his knowledge and experience, collaborating with dental practices worldwide, enhancing tehniques of prosthodontics on patients carrying combined prosthesis on implants.As a key figure of B&B Dental, he visits international exhibitions providing education, development and the technical presentations of B&B’s advancements in the field of implantolgy.

DR. MARCO ROYPoland - University of Poznan

Dr. Roy helds the title of DDS in 2013 Poznan University of Medical Sciences English Program and he also is an Assistant, Prosthodontic Dep. Poznan University of Medical Sciences since 2014. Dr. Roy is practicing as Implantologist in Poznan (Poland, Candeo clinic) and Pisa (Italy, Private practice) and he is owner of a dental office specialized in dental implantology and general dentistry in Pisa. He is author of scientific articles published on international journals and he is attending last year of PhD in the field of dental implantology. He is co-founder and leader of PUMS students research group Best Science research team award 2017, trainer-lecturer Nuvola (Invisible alignment System) Trainer and lecturer IAS (Intelligent alignment systems).He is member of IADR (International association of dental research), ICP (international college of prosthodontics) and CAI Academy (computer aided implantology academy).

MR. ALAN BETTI B&B Dental’s guided surgery manager

Graduated in 2001 as dental technician from Villaggio del Fanciullo high school in Bologna, he began attending the laboratories since the first school year where he acquired a good experience in the construction of dental prostheses. In 2003 in collaboration with his business partner he has founded ORAL KEY snc. dental laboratory. In 2016 he attended courses on the use of CAD software for dentistry design and design software for the realization of surgical templates.In 2017 he has become responsible of the milling center and guided surgery in B & B Dental where he offers technical support for dentists and dental technicians.

DR. IOANA DATCUItaly - ID dental clinic

Dr. Ioana Datcu graduated in 2007 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. She has held private dental practices in Ravenna (ID Dental Clinic), Emilia Romagna, where she is specialized in Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry and Periodontology & Implant Dentistry. She has also collaborated with other practices in Implant Surgery and she is a co-author of Italian and international scientific publications. She is B&B’s Clinical Tutor for their Implant Surgery Training Course in Portugal. Over the years, Dr. Datcu has attended courses in her field, as: - One year course in Periodontal Surgery with Doctor Giovanni Zucchelli in 2013 - Implant Surgery courses in New York with Doctor Dennis Tarnow and Doctor Stephen Chu.- Three year course in Implant and Periodontal Dentistry with Doctor Alessandro Agnini.

New technologies work alongside and support us, providing us with more and more innovations to improve the care of the smile and customer and patient satisfaction. During the course, participants will have the chance to train on B&B Dental GS software and on models to test the potential of B&B Dental’s workflow.

PROGRAM

In the surgical management of the atrophic posterior maxilla, pterygoid implants are a less invasive alternative to sinus lift. Pterygoid and subperiosteal implants represent a valid alternative also to bone or biomaterial grafts. The course will also examine guided surgery techniques taking into consideration all the critical aspects of the workflow necessary to plan successful surgeries.
