The group was previously represented by Garlock GmbH, an affiliate of sister EnPro com- pany Garlock Sealing Technologies. With its regional headquarters based in Neuss, near Düsseldorf, Technetics Group Germany GmbH offers brand-name products for critical applications in the aerospace, semiconductor, oil and gas, power-generating, nuclear, medical device, pharmaceuticals, land-based turbine and valve industries. These include high-performance sealing products, polymer technologies, rupture discs, semiconductor equipment and chamber sub-systems, acoustic media, accumulators and bellows. Also offered are sub-assembly and testing capabilities, plus a number of services covering a wide variety of coatings, textures and join- ing systems. In addition, for advanced R & D capabilities the firm has access to the group’s Maestral Laboratory in Pierrelatte, France. Staff at the newly-formed subsidiary include Thomas Ritter. Based near Frankfurt he is the group’s senior market manager for the nuclear, land-based turbines and aerospace sectors. Sales engineer Reinhold Seeman is based in Karlsruhe in southern Germany, while sales representative Jörg Koritkowski is located near Hamburg in northern Germany. The Dana China Technical Center will pro- vide product and applications engineering for original equipment manufacturers in the light- vehicle, commercial-vehicle and off-highway markets in China and throughout the Asia–Pacific region. It includes a 5800-m 2 (62 000-ft 2 ) test laboratory and provides 3200 m 2 (34 000 ft 2 ) of manufacturing space to supplement an area of 17 000 m 2 (183 000 ft 2 ) dedicated to the manufacturing facility at adjacent Dana Wuxi Technologies Co Ltd. ‘Dana has a long history of product innova- tion and the Dana China Technical Center will enable the company to take advantage of technology synergies across all of the markets and customers we serve around the world,’ commented Roger Wood, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dana. ‘For more than two decades we have recog- nised the importance of supporting the Chinese market, and we will continue to allocate an increasing share of our resources towards sup- porting our customers in the region.’ Dana serves more than 100 customers in China, including Beijing Jeep Corp, BMW, Daimler, Dongfeng Motor, Ford, Jinbei, SAIC, Sany, SGM, Southeast Motor Corp, Toyota, VW Group, XCMG, XGMA and Zoomlion. Technetics Group forms German subsidiary

Technetics Group, part of EnPro Industries, has established a

German subsidiary to represent the company in Europe. The group was previously represented by Garlock GmbH, an affiliate of sister EnPro com-pany Garlock Sealing Technologies.

Dana opens R & D centre in China

US company Dana Holding Corp has officially opened its new 12 000-m2

(129 000-ft2) technical centre in Wuxi, Jiangsu Provence, China.

The Dana China Technical Center will pro-vide product and applications engineering for original equipment manufacturers in the light-vehicle, commercial-vehicle and off-highway markets in China and throughout the Asia–Pacific region.
