Posidonia 2012 - five intriguing days from 4th to 8th of June at the Metropolitan Expo, Greece’s largest and best equipped exhibition center! The 40-year old international tradition, this year attracted over 18.500 guests from 92 countries, and almost 1.800 exhibitors, representing the entire spectrum

of the maritime market.

Posidonia has been a very important trade show for our company TECHNAVA, as it has served as a networking forum between shipping industry professionals and has laid the foundations for numerous business transactions providing direct contact with shipowners and the maritime community in

general.

TECHNAVA being punctual to our 14th consecutive Posidonia participation and treasuring the upcoming business opportunity with our long lasting partners, has once more declared its strong and vivid presence in one of Venue’s

biggest spaces.

At our stand, expanding to 200m2., we hosted 80 guests representing the first class manufacturers we collaborate with, covering a wide range of machinery, whereas our crew of 85 highly skilled individuals, were there eager to welcome our guests and offer a flavor of expertise and know-how. A good number important customers visited our stand, including Technical Managers, NB Managers, Head Purchasers, S/Es, even Owners themselves in order to pay their respects to their long lasting colleagues and collaborators and once more proclaim their interest and

entrustment in our products’ technology and reliability.

It is with pride that we say, 1.200 visitors stopped by our stand, which we co-hosted with CASS TECHNAVA MARITIME, one of Greece’s leading broking houses, having concluded more than 100 Newbuilding ships for Greek interests. Among these visitors, we had the pleasure of meeting with shipyards’ executives and owners themselves, foreign interest shipowners

who have concluded contracts through CASS TECHNAVA.

The highlight of our stand was the modest but colorful celebration we enjoyed for the 44 years since our establishment by our founder and today’s President, our Mr. Byron Tomazos. Beautiful and moving moments, having friends and collaborators around you, offering their

compliments and their warmest wishes for the future!!!

Technava’s & Cass Technava’s Party at “AKANθUS”

During POSIDONIA 2012, in our known spirit of hospitality, we once more organized some social events, in an effort to make our guests’ stay both very fruitful and also quite pleasant.

Our time-honored Technava Customer Party this year was held on Wednesday June 6th, at the AKANθUS summer club, Asteria, Glyfada. The event was proclaimed as a great success at it attracted more than 2.000 customers, among them long lasting friends and collaborators. While we had the privilege and pride of welcoming 70 Greek Shipowners, among them the elite of the Greek Shipping who had the courtesy of conveying their most positive comments for our party, being

“one of the three highlights of Posidonia 2012”.

Our Customer Party took place by the sea-side, where the scenery of the absolute summer environment proved to be ideal for amusement and relaxation. The whole ambience was bordered by happenings which made the difference and intrigued our guests’ attention. The well-known from the Olympic Games of 2004 - Petros Kourtis and his famous team of Batala Drums - surrounded the place with rhythm and color, whereas other artists, an opera soprano, a violinist, etc. concluded this night in the best musical way. It was a night of fun and dancing, as we took leave of our

guests in early morning hours…

Schneekluth Wake Equalizing Duct Technical Forum

Schneekluth Hydrodynamik & Technava S.A. organized a technical forum on the “ Wake Equalizing Duct”(WED) - a well-known measure for improving the propulsion efficiency and reducing fuel consumption “ at the Athens Golf Club”,

on Thursday 21st June 2012.

A vast number of approx 260 participants honored us with their presence including key players of the Greek market, owners, technical managers, NB

managers, decision makers from first class shipping companies.

Our company TECHNAVA S.A. among our wide range of activities and services rendered, is now officially appointed to represent Schneekluth products in the

marine market.
