Accommodations for students with
an IEP
-Have a sibling or parent read aloud all material -Extra time as needed Model for students one completed example, so that they are able to follow one independently. If students are still struggling, have them work in Istation math, for this will track progress. Additional accommodations are listed below lesson plan. If students are still confused, guide and prompt them, without giving them the answer. -Click on the blue link to access addition, or multiplication charts
-Have a sibling or parent read aloud all material -Extra time as needed -Chunk assignments as needed Prompt and guide students as they read. Have them stop and think, and them ask questions about what they are reading.

Accommodations
For all students with an IEP, Lexia will replace a student’s grade only if the student is unable to complete grade level work. Same with the Math lessons, if the
math lesson is too difficult, use istation math to replace the grade. For those parents assisting students with the packets, make sure to take a snap shot of the
assignments once completed, in order to get credit for the assignment. Parents remember, prompt and guide your students as they go through the lessons.

Google Extensions
Text to Speech
Text to speech, abbreviated as TTS, is a form of speech synthesis that converts text into spoken voice output. Text to speech systems were first
developed to aid the visually impaired by offering a computer-generated spoken voice that would "read" text to the user.

Comprehension
When students are learning a new language or need help understanding what they're reading, extensions that help language comprehension are
incredibly important. They can be used to supplement and introduce new vocabulary or let students hear words out loud. Language and reading
comprehension is an important part of any project or assignment, and reducing the frustration that might come along with it will help students gain
confidence and make huge strides in their education.
