The Team

We come from a town up north in the middle of Norway called Trondheim. We are Two boys. The programming specialist Amund, Joakim the handyman and tutor Pavel.

Trondheim Cathedral school is Norway's oldest upper secondary school and is the nearest neighbor to the Nidarosdomen Cathedral. Students have studied there for almost 1000 years. The School can offer a variable and exiting education and study specializations, International Baccalaureate, music, dance, drama and media and communication.

The Robots

Our robots use a master-slave pair of RCXs. Sensor readings from the slave are transmitted to the master which controls the motors powering the wheels.

IR sensors are used to spot and get to the soccer ball and regular light sensors are used to tell when the ball is in front of the robot.

Additionally a compass and rotation sensor is used for navigation along with a light sensor directed at the soccer-field to read the gradient

Robots are programmed in NQC

Robot base is hand-made from plastic cutting board
