    Wear goggles and face mask if cutting materials

    Ensure proper footwear and clothing for team members.

    Correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

    Check location of first-aid trained staff, and procedures for accidents

    H&S rep to remind team of safe use of lightsTeam to work in pairs when erecting partitions

    Team work when moving items from vehicles into exhibition space,including extra care on stairs and awareness weights and nature of loads tobe lifted.

    2. In relation to student projects/work, effective or adequate supervision does not necessarily(or perhaps even usually) mean constant attendance (i.e. direct supervision). Whereattendance is necessary, this can be conducted by the supervisor or suitablyqualified/experienced member of academic or technical staff.

    3. Signatures are required from the Estates Services Manager where the work/project impactson the fixtures or fittings of the building, or the internal/external areas of the College, if indoubt, please seek approval.

    4. Assessments must be reviewed by the date specified on the form or immediately followingan accident/unsafe incident occurring or change to original project specification.
