Treasure Island is convinced that there are treasures to be found in every team and in every person. Our experience is that it is more effective to focus on talents than to focus on problems. UNIQUE DUTCH ISLANDSTreasure Island has two unique locations in the heart of Holland, both 30’ away from Schiphol. You will board a boat that takes you to one of our Treasure Islands. Either you arrive at a very Dutch organic cheesefarm with fifty cows near Leiden. Or you explore a late 19th century fortress situated in the sea, once built to defend the city of Amsterdam. At the fortress in IJmuiden you can take a more active approach to team building. We also organise our programs at a location of your choice.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?Treasure Island uses dynamic, interactive training methods that help people gain insight into the qualities of the team. You might view a film that features your customer feedback. You might play a game that focuses on dealing with different interests. Or you might find yourself climbing through a spider web, discovering your colleagues’ social styles. The theory we use is brief and practical. Where possible, we go outside. The team has a great day together and leaves the island with concrete commitments.

THE TRAINERSTreasure Islands’ trainers are both pragmatic and result-oriented. They create a pleasant atmosphere and ensure that the team leaves the island with renewed energy. Walter Landwier holds a Master’s Degree in Law and Communication Science. He has worked as a people manager at KPN (Telecom). Marieke van Maanen is a Social Psychologist. She has worked as a senior trainer at GITP (HRM Consultancy).
