Format/Methods
Each lesson is open-ended allowing for many interpretations and closings, encouraging independent student learning and exploration. Art skills and concepts will be taught separate as well as incorporated into the production of art work and discussed in response to the student’s work, fine art prints and art objects.
Student participation and willingness to experiment with new ideas will be stressed. Understanding of key concepts and refinement of skills will become evident in the student’s work.Verbal communication and understanding of art concepts will be practiced through oral critiques.
