Teachers’ Resource is a collection of instructional and assessment resources provided as a companion and supplement to the Maths-Whizz Tutor. It is designed for use in whole-class instruction (using interactive boards or projectors) or with individual students.

Allows teachers to present Whizz-created extension problems as well as their own content with a set of interactive tools included in the whiteboard.
Allows the creation of worksheets & tests with content from multiple topics.
Displays data including Usage and Progressions for all exercises completed in the session.
Includes performance tasks, curriculum documents, and lesson plans.
Provides written & visual definitions of maths terms.
Click ‘Launch’ under Teachers’ Resource.

This is the Teachers’ Resource homepage.
Accessing exercises & worksheets
Select your preferred curriculum.
Select a grade level.
Select your desired topic.
Select a level/objective on the left and you will be able to view the available exercises and worksheets in that level on the right.
Click ‘Worksheet’ to access the worksheet.
Click the blackboard or the preview screen to see the exercise.
The green bar below the screen indicates the number of questions and available audio content.

Exercises mirror the lessons available to students in the Tutor.
Follow the on-screen instructions to completeexercises.
Worksheets can be projected for whole-group review or can be printed.
Check the box to display the correct answers.
Click ‘Print’ to print or save to PDF.
Click ‘X’ to close.

Select an age range.
Select a topic/curriculum domain.
Access supporting PDF documents for students and/or teachers using links.
Click ‘Launch Problem’ to launch the problem in the Interactive Whiteboard.

Navigate to the homepage.
Click ‘Extension Problems and Interactive Board’ on the Tools menu.
Click ‘Extension problems’.

Click to select from a collection of tools at the bottom of the screen.
The white space in the center of the screen is your workspace.
Click a sheet name to move between sheets.
Save the current board.
Open a saved board.
Undo the last action.
Clear the current sheet.
Print the current sheet.
Using interactive whiteboard
Navigate to the homepage.
Click ‘Extension Problems and Interactive Board’ on the Tools menu.
Click ‘Interactive Board’.

Teachers’ Resource has a range of addtional tools available, including a mathematical dictionary, a mixed test worksheet generator, extension problems and more - all designed to enrich your lessons.
Click ‘Mixed Test Worksheet’ on the Tools menu.
Follow the instructions on screen to select a grade level, up to 4 topics, difficulty level(s), & the number of questions to include.
At the end, click ‘Create Worksheet’.
Click ‘Dictionary’ on the Tools menu.
Select a term on the left-side of the screen.
Browse by scrolling up/down the list, or search for a specific term by typing into the Search bar.
The definition will appear on the right. Any associate images will also be displayed.
Hover over the speaker icon to listen to the word & definition.

Current Resource types include investigations, National Curriculum levels, National Curriculum, and Scottish Curriculum.
Click ‘Results’ on the Tools menu.
You will see a page displaying the results of exercises attempted in the current session.
Description of the exercise.
Score (both raw score and percentile).
Number of times help was used.
Time taken to complete the exercise.
Print the results.
Save results as .csv file.
Create a certificate for results.
Click tabs on right side of notebook to select a type of resource.
Click page corners to flip pages.
Clickable links will include the notebook icon.
