• Program Goals, Eligibility, and Requirements • Application of Data to improve student outcomes • Recognizing Effective Instruction • Context for Teaching (classroom, school, district, and community information

related to teaching environment) • Program Support

We seek your assistance in the assignment of a Support Provider for your LAUSD BTSA Induction candidate. It is important that teachers receive support as they participate in the program. They will be unable to complete their credential requirements without one. Please be reminded that in the 2010-2011 school year a new process for the selection of Support Providers was established. We are currently accepting those Support Providers who were successfully approved through your New Teacher Support Provider Site Selection Committee process. A link to the reference guide, which, outlines the process for the selection of Support Providers is available on our LAUSD BTSA website, http://acts.lausd.net/BTSA. Please feel free to contact our office should you have any questions regarding the LAUSD BTSA Induction Program and the assignment of Support Providers to all programs requiring mentor support.
