Entrust was created in Irvine California to provide ESL training to emerging countries in Asia. In sending teachers from the United States to Asian countries, Entrust

headcounters was moved from the United States to Thailand to fill this

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?The excursions and trips allow you to enjoy your time and bond with your fellow classmates while not in class in the sun drenched paradise.

The excursions take place over two weekends which include; visiting four islands (Koh Gai, Koh Tup, Koh Mawr and Koh Poda), Railay beach, Pranang caves. We provide a snorkeling mask so that you can plunge into the crystal clear waters and rest on the white sandy beaches during this trip. Our other trip takes us to the dense jungle to soak in natural emerald pools, waterfalls and hike to the top of Tiger Temple mountain giving you a birds eyes view of hundreds of islands of the Andaman Sea.

which visa?If you are arriving from a native English speaking country (America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom) we are able to request you arrive non-Immigrant B visa from the Thai Embassy to attend the class prior to your arrival in Thailand or you can simply arrive on a tourist visa.

If you are not from a native English speaking country, we advise you to acquire a single (or double) entry tourist visa from the Thai Embassy prior to your arrival in Thailand.

If you arrive on either a tourist visa or non-immigrant visa the process is the same to obtain the proper visa and work permit from your employer so just do whichever is more convenient for you.

Where can I work with an Entrust TEFL certificate?

An Entrust TEFL certificate allows you to teach English as a foreign language practically anywhere in the world! Our certificate is truly internationally recognized and certified by the Thai Ministry of foreign affairs making it easily accepted by top schools worldwide. We currently have course graduates working all through South East Asia, China, South Korea, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, United Emiratis, Hungary, Spain, Ukraine, Central America and many other countries.

While all countries have their own set of rules, regulations and requirements concerning the employment of foreign labor, we are recognized around the globe. This is helped by our professional associations, award winning teacher training programs, years of solid reputation and over 5,500 graduates already working worldwide. That said, we do recommend that if you know where you’d ultimately like to teach, that you do your homework about that country’s employment requirements.

Some countries may require an additional or higher qualification (like a degree), along with your Entrust TEFL Certificate. They may also have age and ethnicity requirements in order to legally employ you.

Do I need to have teaching experience to teach in Thailand?

No, you do not need to have any previous teaching experience or even speak a word of Thai. However, a definite interest in this field goes without saying. Through our TEFL program, you’ll receive hands-on training through our intensive 140-hour course, be immersed in the Thai culture while being supported by our staff, and see your confidence grow through teaching observation and practice at real schools.

You don’t need to speak a word of Thai to teach English in Thailand. If you do have teaching experience or certification; a degree in Education, English, Math or Science; and other transferable skills – then we encourage you to apply as well. These are sought after by Thai schools.

Can I teach in a city of my choice?

The final hiring decision is made by your prospective employers individual needs and requirements. As Entrust TEFL is simply making the introduction, you’ll be able to decide whether to accept a job position or not, based on the openings available balanced with your individual needs. That being said, our placement department does not collect any fee or commission on your placement, so we introduce you directly to your prospective employer to give you the most money in your pockets every month.

TEFL graduates will tell you that flexibility and reasonability is key to having an enjoyable experience. Don’t get discouraged if you can’t land your dream job on day one. Once you get some teaching experience on your CV, some money in your pocket, a true idea of what levels and where you want to teach . . then you can go for that dream job.

What if I only want to teach for a short time?

You can work as much or as little as you want however, most schools or recruiting agencies will, on average, ask you to sign either a one term (4 months) or full year contract. Most TEFL course graduates work as teachers for at least a year. Some choose only to work on a short-term basis at a school or language school during peak periods. Ultimately, It is up to you on how much or how little you want to work.

How soon should I expect to be placed?

You should expect to be getting job offers within your second week of class as our recruitment division starts contacting employers on your behalf. By the third week you can make an informed decision about where you’d like to teach. Once you graduate, you should already know where you will be teaching and have made arrangements with your employer with regard to accommodation and transportation to your school.
