Earlier Kohli, whobatted for more than eight anda half hours from yesterdaymorning, struck one six and 25
fours in a monumental 340-ballessay to make the highest scoreby an Indian skipper and alsohis third double ton this year, ina five-month period, as well ascareer. With Yadav, whobecame the first Indian batsmanto hit a century at number nineby making a fine 204-ball 104in 244 minutes with 15 hits tothe fence, Kohli — who hasbeen in imperious form in theseries, also created a new
national eighth wicket recordpartnership of 241 that came atnear run a minute.
