CELEBRATING OUR STUDENTS Matariki celebrations Kererū class made some Rewana bread and wrote some sequence plans. We made mashed potatoes in a lunch box. It was fun. Next we put the sugar in. Next we waited for it to cool and bubble. We made dough. We put the dough in the oven and we have to wait for it to rise and it was good when we ate it. Jacinta I made some Rewana bread. It was fun because I ate it. It is potato and it had flour. Niko Miss boiled the potatoes. Then we added flour and sugar and mixed it to dough. We put the dough in a tray and sprinkled flour on the dough and then we cooked the bread. Charlotte They boiled the potatoes and put in the flour and sugar and mashed. Add more flour. Knead the dough and put it in the bowl and put it in a warm place. Cook the dough for 35 minutes. Last we took it out and cut it. William

We have such amazing students at Sacred Heart Petone, here a few of them perform a waiata at assembly.
