The first part of this upgrade, at the intersection of Heads Road/Mosston Road, is complete. The intersection will be temporarily sealed as soon as weather permits and will be upgraded with more substantial material soon. The stormwater main works at Hinau Street are also complete. This section will be permanently re-sealed within the next two weeks, while the section of Mosston Road from Heads Road to Hinau Street will be permanently sealed in due course. The next section of roadworks, for pipework installation, will take place on Heads Road, from the Mosston Road intersection towards town for a distance of about 250 metres. This work is likely to be completed by late November 2019. Following this, another stormwater pipe will be installed along Heads Road towards Castlecliff for a distance of about 220 metres. This work is likely to be completed by February 2019. Mosston Road stormwater upgrade As part of the Mosston Road stormwater pipe upgrade, access to several streets will be restricted until about July 2019 and temporary traffic management can be expected.

The first part of this upgrade, at the intersection of Heads Road/Mosston Road, is complete. The intersection will be temporarily sealed as soon as weather permits and will be upgraded with more substantial material soon.

The stormwater main works at Hinau Street are also complete. This section will be permanently re-sealed within the next two weeks, while the section of Mosston Road from Heads Road to Hinau Street will be permanently sealed in due course.

Rotokawau Virginia LakePest controlBait stations to manage pests have been placed at the back area of Rotokawau Virginia Lake this week (closest to Virginia Road).

A pest management company has laid the approved bait stations, which contain Pindone pellets for rabbit control.
