PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Finance (DOF), in cooperation with the Civil Service Commission (CSC), aims to further professionalize and benchmark the

competencies of local treasury o�cers in the spirit of good �scal governance and local public �nancial management through a

competency assessment examination.

on or before October 12, 2015 at the Provincial Treasurer’s O�ce

on or before October 14, 2015 at the BLGF Regional O�ce

The exam is MANDATORY for all permanent and designated Provincial, City, and Municipal Treasurers and Assistant Treasurers.

On a �rst-come, �rst-serve basis, other local employees, particularly from the Local Treasury or Accounting O�ce, may take the BCLTE as a qualifying examination, provided they already meet the minimum requirements for treasurer or assistant treasurer position set by the Local Government Code.
