Brothers Tattoos
These are some images of my brothers tattoo, which is on his right arm. It says 'Kennedy', the family name in Olde English.

Fathers Tattoos
Nothing but the best
To the left is an image of my father's tattoo which says nothing but the best in LAtin, The type which has been used for this tattoo is very decorative, All the letter are italic slightly and the lowercase letters are joined together,
Family MembersTo the right is another image of one of my fathers tattoos, this is an amaru cross which underneath and to the sides has his children, wifes and mother and fathers names. This has two different types. It is very cursive, again italic and decortive. I would like to take inspiration and create e something decoartive e like this

Nothing but the best
Above is an image of a tattoo on my ribs which is in Arabic. This tattpp is very simple and is hard to see a real type. Below is a lower back tattoo in Latin, this type is very calligraphic and ital-ic, which I think looks really pretty.
Below is an image of a tattoo on my foot, which is in Spanish. I think this font is beautiful because of the swirls it has on the capitals and the way that it can curve to the foot.
Kat Von D
Kat Von D was born in Mexico in 1982.Kat recieved her first tattoo when she was 14, she got an Olde English 'J' on her ankle. In 1998 she began tattooing in her first professional studio...
...I have been inspired by Kat Von D for many years. Her work that she creates is very intriquite and skillful. Her font is very beautiful and is always very cursive.

Darren Brass
The images I have chosen to show are some of Darren's type work. His work is very colourful, although I would like to keep my work simply black and white, I love the shapes of the type he has created. To the left he has created a type tattoo, so if you look at it one way it says 'trust' and then if you look at it upside down it says 'faith', which is beautifully unique.
Darren Brass, was born in 1972, and is currently work at the Love Hate tattoo studio in Miami, better known as 'Miami Ink'
Experiments
Above I have experimented by creating the letter 'A' in a very simple linear drawing. I feel that this font is quite simple, possibly too simple but still elegant.
In the image above I have ex-panded on the previous let-ter by adding flciks to the side and I experimented with shading which looks like cow print.
Above and to the left I have created a 'C' an 'D'in a simple curved font, I feel the D worked better because the C looks like an E with it's addition in the middle.
Experiments
To the left I have experimented by making very quick marks with ink and I feel that to recreate this as a tattoo it would be too hard and over time which age badly
In this B experiment I have decided to draw the outline of the letter in a fancy style, adding flicks, which could be easily translated into a tattoo. I feel this has worked really well and has inspired me for my next stage more.
Experiments
In this experimentation I have added in some small flicks which have come off certain areas of the letter. I think this has worked well because it looks pretty and feminine.
Here I have experiment-ed with ink again, this time I wanted to see what it would look like if I added strands coming off the stems of the H. I think this has worked reall well but would be hard to recreate.
Group Workshop
Below is the original image my group chose to recreate using a 'live poster' technique.
Below is a moodboard, of some images I ahve put together of me and my group working on our live poster, We assigned jobs to each other and then began creating our poster using cardboard, paint and other materials.
Below is another moodboard which I have created using some more images of my group in action. This is mainly us putting up our pieces on the wall to recreate the original poster.
Final PosterBelow is our final live poster. We used cardboard, acrylic paint, blackboard paint, chalk, spray paint, tape and string to create this. We then made one of us the woman in the image who wore a leather dress and someone else was a cat.
