TATA STEEL’S EXPECTATION FROM

VENDORS/ CONTRACTORSIN

RELATION TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT

Tata Steel’s Expectations from Vendors/Contractors:

• Not to disclose confidential information of the Company to outsiders for personal benefits. To sign Non disclosure Agreements by those who work in Confidential areas.

• Not to use Tata Logo for their use or publicity

• To report immediately about any violation of Code or unethical activity without fear.

• To desist from unfair trade practices with its competitors, who are also vendors to Tata Steel

• Not to take recourse to any unethical behaviour (Implicit or Explicit) with any Tata Steel Employee for the purpose of obtaining

• Any Enquiry or Order• Any Information that may have a favorable financial impact on

the vendor

• To report any discrimination that is being practiced against him by any Tata Steel employee by way of either

• Charging him with act(s) of misdemeanor, that has not been perpetrated by him or

• Denying him an opportunity of participating in fair & free competition

• No attempt to be made to unfairly discolor the reputation of such vendors in the perception of Tata Steel

• Ensure compliance of all government norms on Pollution, Minimum Wages Act, Child Labor, Health & Safety Etc.

• To avoid presenting gifts, money, services or favours to Tata Steel employees beyond the customary limitation for the purpose of receiving any favourable behaviour

• To confirm acceptance to abide by the Code of Conduct both in letter and spirit while dealing with Tata Steel

• Violation of any of the above stipulations would be dealt with firmly
