2009.

2nd May, Saturday

Daniel On 2nd May my journey to Catalonia started. We traveled all day. Two hours by plane and four hours by bus. When we arrived to Alcover, our Catalan's families were waiting for us outside the school. My partner Mireia took me to her home. I had a rest for a little while. In the evening I met my friends and we went to a bar. We watched a match: FC Barcelona - Real Madrit. The Barcelona team won 6:2. Saturday was a very tiring day for me.

Karolina First day of our exchange with students from Alcover- Spain.I will be with Gisela Llavore. She is 15. She is tall and slim. She has dark curlyhair.She is nice. When we arrived to her house I ate something and we went to the village to watch a match Barcelona- Madrid. Later we came back to Gisela's house and I was very tired and we went to sleep.

MateuszI arrived to the airport in Barcelona. Then I travelled by coach to arrive to Alcover city. I got to know the family and and went home with them. I ate my supper and I went to bed.

MarcelI got up at 6 o'clock.I took my suitcase to a car and I went to school. A way to the airport was very fast and comfortable. We spent a lot of time at the airport before we entered to an aeroplane. After we landed in Barcelona, we travelled to Alcover on a very comfortable bus. Spanish students were waiting for usin Alcover. I met my partner-Marina. She showed me her house and my room. I had a shower and I went with Marina to watch a match but I didn't watch a match.

3rd May, Sunday

KarolinaToday we had a day with Spanish families. Gisela, Rose, Mateusz, Konrad and I went by the river, where Gisela and boys swam. I was not swimming, bacause the water was very cold.The day was very hot, because it was morning, when sun shone strongly. In the evening we went to the church and met with our friends.

KamilI got up at half past eight and after I had a shower I went with Virginia to meet the Polish teachers. They were curious about our first day in Spain and we told them about our first experiences. Next I went with Kasia, Mateusz, Kinga, Klaudia, Michal,Kasia and Spanich Students to Christina's pool and we swam for two hours. When I come back to Virginia's house I had lunch and next Klaudia and Rachael went to us. Later me and Virginia went to her grandmother's house for dinner. After that we came back home.

KingaThe second day was the day of stay with families. On Sunday morning we all went to a meeting with teachers. After a meeting with teachers with a few friends we went to Cris, there was a swimming pool. There we spent a few hours, swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon me with Laia we were invited to dinner to Cris. The lunch was a typical Spanish Food with rice, various vegetables and seafood such as mussels and shrimp. After lunch we went to see the city where we lived. When we returned it was already too late. This day I very liked.

4th May, Monday

Katarzyna MondayToday I got up early. I did not sleep long because I was thinking that I'm so far from my home. The Polish and Spanish students went together to a big amusement park - famous Port Aventura. We went by coach, which was very tiring. However, soon we arrived at the place and immediately my bad mood was improved. My enthusiasm returned as soon as I saw so many attractions. I wanted to experience as much as possible. Most of the attractions of the park I like d very much. All the views were really beautiful, too. I also liked the train, which moved from a very high speed -130 km /h . This day was really exciting and full of unforgettable impressions and emotions. I am certain that I will not forget it.

Klaudia We spent Monday in a small town with special attractions-Port Aventura.We ate lunch and we spent all the day there. An extreme queue wasto rollercoaster. On this railway we went up and down very quickly. It was amazing. My friend Karolina and I were on the merry-go-round which fell and it rose. It was quickly too. We were in swings which were high and we squirmed. We drove even a locomotive and were on the wooden railway 'el diablo' and many others. Then I went for dinner to the Raquel's grandmother. Her grandmother taught me Spanish words and I taught her Polish words. This day was full of joy.

Ola This day was very crazy! We went to Park Aventura.There were a lot

of very interesting things.I was frightened of Roller coaster but I had a wonderful ride! We ate delicious dinner in the restaurant.

5th May Tuesday

Mateusz In the morning I went to school and I visited it. Then, we had a tour

around Alcover. We visited the Town Hall, too. Then, we came back to the school. We gave presents for our Spanish partners. We watched multimedia presentations.We had the evening free for ourselves. I played the handball. It was great.

Ola For the first time, I spent the morning at school of my partners.

I attended some classes.I ate lunch at this school but it wasn’t very nice for me.We watched a presentacion. The afternoon I spent with some girls of Spanish group. We watched a handball match.

KamilI went to school with Virginia very early because later the Polish group had a tour around Alcover. We went to the museum and very important places in the city. Next, we had lunch. After that, we went to school and we watched Spanish students' presentations. Later, I went with my friends to the shops and clubs in Alcover.

KonradThis day, the whole our group went to school in Alcover. We took part in some lessons with our Spanish friends. Next, we visited the museum of sea life. Next, we went to meet the Mayor of Alcover. At night I went to bed in Adelina’s house.

6th May, WednesdaySandra

Barcelona! It is a beautiful and very large city. We visited a lot of places there. We were in Ocenearium, Park Guell, The Sagrada Familia Church, we saw The Gaudi's Houses. We were in a huge shopping centre where I bought souvenirs. Later, we went to see a stadium of FC Barcelona. It was cool. I will never forget this day.

KonradThis day we went by bus to Barcelona. We arrived in two hours. We visited a lot of monuments: Spanish marketplace, oceanarium and chamber of commerce. Finally, we went to “CAMP NOU”- national stadium of the FC. Barcelona. At night I went to bed in my house.

PiotrekTraditional morning.... Today we were in Barcelona. Barcelona was very interesting. We visited many places (Camp Nou was the most interesting). After this trip everyone was very tired. We came back to school at 9 o'clock p.m and we went to our houses.

7th May, ThursdayKonrad

In the morning we went to our partner school. Next, we went by bus to Montserrat. We visited a monastery of Black Madonna and listened to a choir. Next, we went up the mountains by fanicular railway. On our way back to Alcover, we stopped in a picturesque town and had ice-cream.

PiotrekToday we were in Mount Montserrat. A trip there was very long and boring but it was worth, because the mountains looked beautifully. We went up by fanicular railwqay and then we went down on foot. After the trip we went to Tarragona to have ice creams and then we came back to Alcover.

BartekI woke up and I ate breakfast.8.20- We went to Montserrat. 10.20-The bus stopped near a shop and I bought two ice cream. 13.00-We were on Montserrat, this is a big mountain. 19.00-We came back from Montserrat, I ate dinner and I went to bed.

KatarzynaWe spent this day in beautiful mountains. We saw the highest mountain massive - Montserrat. We visited the Church in which there is a picture of a black Madonna. We listened to singing of 38 helpers of a priest. After we went to the top of the mountains and went around the same time returning to our bus.

8th May, Friday

MichałToday, we were in Tarragona. This is a very old city. There is a wall dating back the second century there. We walked under the walls. This was a very important city in Roman time. We saw a circus and amphitheatre, too. We went shopping later. I bought a lot of souvenirs.

MarcelToday we were in Tarragona. I saw a lot of interesting places. I liked the most a circusand an Amphitheatre. Tarragona is very impressive.

KarolinaThis day we spent in Tarragona. It is a beautiful Roman city with long history and traditions. Everybody who likes ancinet culture would be delighted. After visiting, we went shopping to the shopping centre.

PiotrekToday we were in Tarragona to see old Roman places. Tarragona is an old town but it impressed me a lot. I liked the amphitheatre the most. Later we went to a shopping centre.

9th May, Saturday

MichałToday, we went to the beach. It was cloudy. I swam in the sea. Water was very cold. I built a very big sandcastle with my friend. We went to a restaurant for lunch. Later, we could buy souvenirs.

KlaudiaI woke up at 8 a.m. We ate our breakfast and we went to school. Then we went to the seaside. We went by ship. Voyage by ship lasted 20 minutes. Next we went to the beach and we relaxed. we took photo session and we rested on the beach. Some of us swam, anoither played in the water. When we came back home, there were preparations for confirmation of Ruben- Raquel's brother. He was confirmed in church. We went to the church. It was a great celebration. After confirmation we came home where we ate the ceremonial dinner.

KamilToday we went by a ship to Tarragona's beach. I like sea and I was happythis day. Next, we went to McDonald's and had lunch. Later, we came back to Alcover. After I had a shower I went with Virginia to Alcoer's Stadium. It was great!

10th May Sunday

DanielWe spent Sunday with our families. My family took me to the mountains. There are a lot of rocks, trees and flowers here. We walked for two hours. Then, we went to restaurant for lunch. We sat there for a long time because it was cold outside. When I came back, I played basketball and I watched a match: FC Barcelona contra Villa Real. At the end of this day, I was very tired.

MateuszWe were supposed to spend this day with families. So in the morning they took me to the beach. Then we went to a restaurant. I ate a very delicious meal.

KarolinaToday I spent the day with my Spanish family. Me and eleven another Polish students with Spanish students were on the beach. Unfortunately, there was no sun and we couldn't sunbathe. At 2 o'clock p.m. we went for lunch. I ate chips and chicken. It was delicious! We came back to the house at 5 o'clock p.m.In the evening we went to the church.

11th May, Monday

PiotrekI got up early. Today we were walking in the mountains near Alcover. We admired the countryside. At 7 o'clock we went to school and we had 'Spanish Evening'. It was a kiind of 'goodbye party' for us. We could taste traditional Spanish dishes. We sang Spanish songs and danced Spanish dances. After a very nice time at school I came back with Albert and his parents to the house.

OlaIt’s my last day in beautiful and hot Spain! It’s so sad.I met so nice people here.I’ll have contact with them for ages! I think that time in Spain was the best in my life because I could visit new places. In the evening Marta gave me a presents and we went to the partyto school.

Daniel11th May we spent at school. We watched a film. Then, I played football with my friends. After that, we drove to the mountains and we walked for two hours. There were beautiful views. When I came back to my house I took a rest. In the evening there was a farewell party. We sang Spanish songs and danced Spanish dances. It was very nice.

12th May, Tuesday

SandraDeparture from Alcover to the airport in Barcelona. Arrival to Poland and warm welcome by our families. I will always remember my stay in Spain. I will never forget these 10 days.

KonradThis day we came back to Poland. At about 10 o’clock we went to the airport. At about 14.35 we flew to Poland. At about 17 we were in Poland. It was nice to see my family.

MichałToday was the last day in Spain. We went to the airport by bus. I looked at Spain for the last time. The trip to Poland was very good. We were in Poland at five past five. I think it was a really good idea to organize the exchange and go to Spain. I met a lot of people and visited a lot of amazing places in Spain.
