will have gathered 10 examples of the logos made for Music Band.

I will have also been given guidance on the artistic methods of drawing logos and experimenting with the logos myself.

I have managed to collate 16 examples of the logos that have been used for the following Music Artists:

Deadmau 5 (Dance) Gorillaz (Pop) JLS (Pop) Prince (Pop/Funk) Queen (Rock) Rolling Stones (Rock) Scissor Sisters (Pop) Take That (Pop)

I have successfully been given guidance on how to creatively put together a typical Music Artist logo where I will give it a name before the creation of the logo.

14th Jan 2013 By the end of today I will have finished off researching into the examples for tour posters and CD covers as well in relation to the artists as explained above in the 3rd column.

I have covered all of the research materials for the following Music Artists in which I exemplified the logos, tour posters and CD covers produced by them:

18th Jan 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have started to storyboard my ideas for the logo of the JBL Music Band and the Tour Poster as well.

I have managed to complete the 3 storyboards sketches for the JBL Music Band which are the following:

22nd Jan 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have completed the research for magazine artists from the examples given of the College’s VLE.

I have collated examples of magazine adverts for the following Music Artists:

25th Jan 2013 By the end of today’s sessions I will have completed the storyboard sketch for the Magazine Advert representing the JBL Music band.

I will have also completed the Client Proposal for the JBL band as well.

I have successfully have finished of the storyboard sketch for the Magazine Advert for the JBL band where I included further information on how to books tickets for concerts.

I have covered nearly all of the areas within the Client Proposal for the JBL band where I have talked about the Profile of the Band, Target Audience, Timings of Graphics/Schedule, Where I obtained the graphics, Format of Graphics, Type of Image, Copyright Issues and Legal, Ethical and Moral Issues.

29th Jan 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have completed the agenda and minutes meeting document for the JBL band with the client.

I will have also completed the design for the logo that represents the JBL band.

I have carried out a meeting with the client and he seems to be happy with my progress for the Client Proposal and the Storyboard Sketches for the JBL band, except I have to make minor changes to the wording for the Agenda, Minutes and the Client Proposal documents for the JBL band where these will be done at home.

I have managed to finish the logo design for the JBL band where I have produced this within the Adobe Photoshop CS5 software application


1st Feb 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have finished off the Tour Poster for the JBL band.

I will have screen printed and annotated the process of setting up a print-based document.

In addition to this I will have also kept a log of the tools and features used within the Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator CS5 software applications.

Furthermore, I will have saved all of the artwork that has been produced within the Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Illustrator CS5 software applications into a .TIFF file format as this will be used for desktop publishing within the Microsoft Publisher 2010 application.

I will have uploaded the finished artwork for the Tour Poster for JBL band into the Microsoft Publisher 2010 software applications.

I have completed the tour poster for the JBL band where it was desktop published within the Microsoft Publisher 2010 software application for the final output of the print-based product.

I have documented annotations and screenshots of everything I have done to set up a print- based document.

I have obtained a log of the tools and features that have been used within the following Adobe CS5 (Creative Suite 5) software applications:

I have successfully produced all of the artwork for the print-based documents which are the following:

These have been saved in a .TIFF file format so that they could be used for desktop publishing within the Microsoft Publisher 2010 software application.

I have uploaded the completed artwork for the Tour Poster for JBL band into the Microsoft Publisher 2010 software applications.


4th Feb 2013 Due to early start by the end of my own spare time and today’s session I will have finished of desktop publishing the following print-based media products:

8th Feb 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have presented to the client the finalised documents for the 3 print-based media products which are the following:

where the client will look at it for approval and give me feedback on how I could improve the print-based digital graphics.

I have successfully presented to the client the finalised draft versions of the print-based digital graphics for the JBL band and he has suggested that I need to improve the style of the content to make it more distinctive and unique. He has also said that I need to modify the band image example extracted from the internet within the Adobe Photoshop CS5 software application where I will be using the same pattern of colour scheme so that it reflects the overall theme for the print-based media products for the JBL band.

(All of this will be done by the end of today’s sessions!)


19th Feb 2013 By the end of today’s session I will have gone through with the client on the finalised documents and printed them off in appropriate paper sizes.

I will have completed the client meeting document on the finalised documents for the JBL band.

I have successfully gone through with the client on my finalised documents for the JBL band and I have applied bigger fonts towards the tour dates and contact details in order to emphasis the main points within the 3 print-based media products which are the following:

22nd Feb 2013 By the end of today’s sessions I will have done the screen printing the graphic files in the Assignment folder and showing how I saved and exported them using suitable software such as, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Microsoft Publisher 2010.

I have managed to complete screen printing the graphic files within the Assignment folder and I showed how the artwork was saved and exported into a suitable file format for desktop publishing within the Microsoft Publisher 2010 software application.
