Date 28.10.2014 Location For my location I am going to use a white wall. I am going to use this because I am basing my magazine on the style of RollingStone, they use a simple photo on a white background to make it classy. The white wall will be easy to photoshop the people out of it so I can place the image on my background. Casting For the casting I am going to use 5 young teenage girls, they are going to represent a girl band. The people I have chosen I think can pull off a sophisticated look which is what I am looking for. The girl band need to look smart, fun and young but have an attitude of an adult. Molly Loats (year 11) Claudia Paton (year 11) Freya Veil (year 11) Georgia Setchfield (year 11) Olivia Carpenter (year 11) Also my magazine will feature a few extra people just to represent other artists on the contents page, these people are yet to be decided. Costume For the girls costumes I am going to use ideas from my mood board, they are going to all wear different clothes but stay within the same style. By making them all wear something different it shows their individual personalities. For example some might wear jeans, some might wear skirts. All girls will be wearing heeled shoes so that it finishes their look off, and this element is what will make them look older.

Date 28.10.2014Location For my location I am going to use a white wall. I

am going to use this because I am basing my magazine on the style of RollingStone, they use a simple photo on a white background to make it classy. The white wall will be easy to photoshop the people out of it so I can place the image on my background.

Casting For the casting I am going to use 5 young teenage girls, they are going to represent a girl band. The people I have chosen I think can pull off a sophisticated look which is what I am looking for. The girl band need to look smart, fun and young but have an attitude of an adult.Molly Loats (year 11)Claudia Paton (year 11)Freya Veil (year 11)Georgia Setchfield (year 11)Olivia Carpenter (year 11)

Also my magazine will feature a few extra people just to represent other artists on the contents page, these people are yet to be decided.

Make-up The make-up on the girls will be a full face, this means they will look done up, but it won’t be over the top. I want them to have a natural look with smoky eyes to draw attention to their faces.

Shot Types On the front cover of the magazine I am going to have 1 long shot photo of all 5 girls, this will make them look like a girl band, all together and as one. On the contents page I will have a shot of maybe a couple of the girls, probably a mid shot, along with a couple of shots of other people to represent other artists. On the double page spread I will have multiple images of the girls, some together, some apart, these will be different shot types, including close ups, mid shots and long shots.

Body Language The girl’s body language is going to need to be strong, with an attitude, they need to try and

convey the persona of a young adult. This will include poses with their heads slightly raised etc.

Lighting The lighting for my images will be high key, I need them to look happy and bright. Also this will appeal to my target audience, they are going to want to see joyful photos rather than dark gloomy ones.

Props I don’t think I will be using any props as my images will be plain and simple, keeping in the same style as RollingStone.
