Crumple up your old newspaper and use it as

packaging material for any outgoing mail you

send. It's a biodegradable material that will

protect any fragile items you have in your

package.

Use your old newspaper as garden mulch or

weed block instead of purchasing traditional

mulch from the store. Lay it five pages thick on

the soil, then place soil overtop of the

newspaper to keep it from blowing away.

Burn the newspaper in your fireplace. This

cheap paper can act as kindling for starting

fires, and it's completely fine for the

environment.

Use a couple of pages of newspaper as a hot

pad for when you serve hot dishes at the dinner

table. The paper will insulate the pan or baking

dish from burning the table, and keep the food

warm too.

Use crumpled-up pieces of

newspaper as a window

cleaner for any household or

commercial window. The

paper won't leave pieces of

lint like ordinary towels will,

and it leaves a nice, streak-

free shine. Crumple up the

newspaper in a ball, spray

the window cleaner on the

window, and rub the

newspaper in a circular

motion to clean the window.

increased a 30% in the

last four years,

of the regional goverment

and the policies of

conservation of natural

areas.


RENEWAL PLAN FOR GAS

INDUSTRIES

The purpose of this plan is to

provide a support to reform

the industrial equipment

employed with coal, LPG and

diesel produced in the

outskirts of Madrid replacing

them with natural gas fuel.

The purpose of this plan is

to provide support to reform

the electrical installations

mainly for housing estates in

order to provide safety and

efficiency.


ENVIRONMENTAL

ASSESSMENT LAW

The 19th of june 2002 the

Community of Madrid

created this law to

establish the legal

framework for

environmental

procedures in order to

ensure adequate

environmental protection.


WASTE OF THE

COMMUNITY OF MADRID

The 20th of March 2003 an other law was written concerning the creation of Clean Points, defined as a municipal owned facility for the collection of waste from households in wich the user deposits segregated waste to facilitate subsequent recovery of disposal.
