During this struggle there was not a time when Lewis Katz was not there for us. Whether it was coming to the hospital to entertain our family with unforgettable stories while we stressfully waited for an operating room, calling doctors and hospitals across the country for opinions or just being the unbelievable friend and person that we all loved so dearly.

this night and all of you being here means to me and my family. A few weeks ago I started an expanded access program for the
newest drug that is available to fight melanoma. This is a drug that would not be available without the funding for research that is so crucial to finding a cure. I am so happy that with this foundation
and tonight’s event we are helping that research get one step closer and I cannot thank you all enough for your involvement.
I would also like to thank our committee, all of the sponsors, the volunteers and everyone who donated auction items.
