INTRODUCTION
Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) has organized the media exposure visit for Tameer Microfinance Bank
Limited (TMFB) on 21st November, 2013 in Karachi. The media for the activity includes The News, The Nation,
Daily Times, Business Recorder and Ausaf.
As part of our Communications and Public Relations Strategy, we have been arranging media visits for our
members. So far, these visits have been arranged for Akhuwat, Wasil Foundation (formerly known as CWCD),
SAFWCO, Kashf MFB, Sungi, Khushhali Bank and Kashf Foundation. All the above mentioned visits resulted in
print and/or electronic media coverage of these organizations. The purpose of the activity is to highlight the
positive work being carried out by our members and to share microfinance success stories with journalists. A
media exposure visit also gives the host MFP the opportunity to start building independent relationships with
reporters.
