• Fittings come with two Santoprene™ Gaskets• 1/4” & 3/8” fittings are double threaded• Heavy duty fittings are FNPT x Socket• PVC temperature range: 34°F to 140°F• CPVC or PP temperature range: 34°F to 200°F• Santoprene™ & Polypropylene meets FDA standards• CPVC & PVC meet NSF 61 requirements

Available in gray PVC, light gray CPVC or natural Polypropylene with Santoprene™ gaskets, Tamco® tank fittings handle a wide range of temperature and chemical application requirements. When installed in a tank these tank fittings add a FNPT connection for attaching tube fittings, spigots, valves and more.

1. Using a hole saw, drill the appropriate size hole for your fitting, in the desired location on your tank.Note: Be careful not to drill your hole too close to a corner or the rounded bottom edge of tank, preventing you from being able to insert the fitting through the hole. Generally, it is going to need to be about 1” from an adjacent surface or radiused edge to allow for sufficient space for gasket and washer to seal on the tank wall.2. Deburr edge of hole on both sides to provide a smooth surface for gasket to properly seal against.Note: DO NOT deburr too much material around opening – only remove lip and any shavings from saw cut; do not carve out extra material. 3. Place one of the gaskets onto the fitting. 4. Reach inside the tank and insert the fitting through the hole. Threaded end should be sticking outside the tank and flanged end and gasket should be inside of the tank.5. Place second gasket on the threads, that are sticking out of tank.Note: If your fitting only comes with one gasket, it should be on the inside of the tank.6. Thread on the nut. Nut should be hand tight, plus a 1/2 turn.Note: Do not over tighten. Overtightening will distort the gasket resulting in a leak.
