Please come along and join in the fun!
Tynock NS are holding a Parents Information Session with Cybersafe Ireland on Monday 20th
November at 8p.m. in the school. This is open to all parents in the community and aims to keep you up to date with what your children are doing on-line and how you can keep their online experiences safe.
It was with great sadness that our community woke up on Tuesday morning to the news that Lucy Hayes (Lucia neé Niceforo) had died. Lucy, who was originally from Australia was much loved here and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Lucy cared about everybody, could never do enough for you, and went above and beyond in everything she did. Her beautiful smile, boundless energy and familiar greeting “How’s it going, Honey ? “, will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with Denis, Noah, Lily, Donnacha & Charlie, and all the Hayes family, Lucy’s parents, sisters and brother, and many friends at this sad time. Lucy’s funeral mass is at 12pm on Saturday in Talbotstown Church, with burial afterwards in Tynaclash Cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.
We offer our sympathy to the Kiggins family, and the priests of St. Patrick’s Society on the death of Fr. Tom Kiggins whose remains were interred in the college cemetery on Monday last.
We offer our sympathy to Timmy Phelan & family on the death of his brother Paddy who died in Kilkenny during the week.
Rest in Peace.
Kiltegan GAA Club AGM due to take place on Saturday night 18th November in the Club house has been cancelled to a later date as a mark of respect to the late Lucy Hayes.
The GAA club wish to extend their deepest sympathy to her husband Denis, children Noah, Lilly, Donnacha, Charlie, her mother, farther, sisters, brother, mother-in-law Eileen, cousins, relatives & many friends.
Lucy was always at the heart of our community, and the GAA since she & Denis moved back from Australia. She helped in many ways especially in the catering department, she helped out at parties, reunions, field days, after match celebrations. No job was too big or too small for Lucy.
May she rest in peace. Knockananna Tidy Towns will host the final Carboot Sale for 2017 on Saturday 25th of November in the Hall Knockananna. A pitch costs €10 and the Hall will be open from 8am. If you
require a table, then please come early as tables are limited. We are hoping
that there will be a seasonal selection on the day but we will have the usual bric o
brac, home baking and of course our usual Tea stall, where you can catch up
with the neighbours.
We would like to thank all our supporters, it is lovely to see our
regulars each month.
