    1. ACCESSING TALEO PERFORMANCE AS AN HR MANAGER

    INTRODUCING THE WELCOME CENTER

    Prerequisite: Access to multiple Taleo modules > [Welcome Center]

    Steps:

    1 Please login to Taleo Performance Management system. You will notice that instead of going directly to the Employee Center, the system

    will now take you to a new page, called the Welcome Center.

    2 The Welcome Center is the home page that is displayed to employees immediately after they log in and provides a "one-click" accesspoint to Taleo modules, such as Performance, Reporting, Recruiting, etc.

    3 The Welcome Center contains a core navigation bar, an auxiliary navigation bar, a Quick Access panel and a Communications panel.Using the Quick Access panel, you can access the different modules of Taleo.

    HR MANAGERS WORKING WITH GOAL PLANS

    Prerequisite: Performance > [HR Administration Tools] Goal Plan

    Steps:

    1. Please login to Taleo Performance Management system. At the Welcome Center, click on the link Performance under Quick Access>Centers or click on the tab Performance. At the Employee Center, from under HR Administration Tools, access the link Goal Plan.

    2. You will be taken to the Goal Plans page where you can review the information related to Goals for employees (only those who has

    created a goal plan) and f ilter them by different criteria (including the approval status, organization and location).

    3. By default, in the Filters pane, the Approval Status Approval in Progress is selected and the checkbox Approval is late is checked.

    This is deliberate so that the HR Administrators are aware of the delays and can follow-up with the employees and their directmanagers to take action on the pending tasks.

    4. To filter employees by other approval statuses, manager/employee name, organization and/or location, select the field, enter the data

    and click on the Refresh the Results icon . To clear all the filters and start from scratch, click on the Clear the Filters icon . Ifneeded, you can change the number of results per page to see more (up to 40) or less (up to 10) results at a time. By default, thesystem displays 20 results per page.

    5. To view details (goals and the history) about the employees Goal Plan, click on the employee name from the results pane.

    6. If the Goal Plan has the status Approval in Progress, you can view the Approval Details from the Goal Plans results pane. Select theemployee by checking the checkbox beside Employee Name. From the Actions, select View Approval Details. The Approval Detailswindow open and displays information, such as the assigned and due dates as well as the name of the participant or approver. Onceyou have viewed the information, click Close to return to the results pane.

    HR MANAGERS WORKING WITH PERFORMANCE REVIEWS

    Prerequisite: Performance > [HR Administration Tools] Performance Review

    Steps:

    1. Please login to Taleo Performance Management system. At the Welcome Center, click on the link Performance under Quick Access>Centers or click on the tab Performance. At the Employee Center, from under HR Administration Tools, access the link PerformanceReview.

    2. You will be taken to the Performance Reviews page where you can review the information related to Performance Review for thoseemployees for whom the Review was launched, and filter them by different criteria (including the employee review status, self-assessment status, approval status, employees, manager, organization and/or location).

    the review process. Access Comments tab to view the final comments entered by Employee (at the Acknowledgement Step) before the reviewis closed.

    ACCESSING REPORTING MODULE AS HR MANAGERS

    Prerequisite: Welcome Center > [Quick Access] Reporting

    Steps:

    1. Please login to Taleo Performance Management system. At the Welcome Center, click on the link, Reporting under Quick Access.

    2. A new window opens and loads the Reporting module. To access the reporting folder structure, click on Document List. But first,please click on Preferences under Personalize section.

    4. The folder name is displayed under General > Folder instead of (unspecified).

    5. Scroll down and click OK to setup your InfoView Start page. So next time, when you click on the Reporting link in the Welcome Center,the Reporting module will load the Performance Management folder for you without you having to go through the folder selectionevery time to run the reports.

    9. The report refreshes and retrieves data (please be patient as this could take a little longer than expected). Once the report refreshes

    successfully, you will see the data displayed as of that date and time. If the report has multiple tabs, you can click on each tab to viewthe results data.

    10. To Save (or export) the entire report (all tabs) to your computer as an Excel file, click on the Document drop-down arrow, then click onSave to my computer as, and then select Excel. The last option, Save report to m y comp uter asonly saves the data from the active tabto Excel but not the entire report. In the File Download window, click on Save. Select the folder in your computer where you would liketo save the report and click Save again.

    11. To view the report in Excel, find and select the report in your computer. Please do not share the report with other employees exceptwith the Line Managers and their Direct Reports within your region and only to follow-up on the status of the Goal Planning orPerformance Review process.
