Landscape design & build processCLIENT BRIEF:Firstly a brief is obtained & a preference sheet filled out from you, a photo survey is completed by T.A.L.C and collated back at the office. This includes details on preferred garden style, features, privacy needs & other site conditions.

STAGE ONE:The design process starts and includes your ideas manipulated into the concept design where possible. A collaboration of ideas is brought together and offered to you on T.A.L.C’s first presentation bringing further discussion research & ideas to the table.

STAGE TWO:Additions and/or changes to the concept design occur here and the final concept is realised and presentation to you in the second meeting. Some clients are happy to lay out the planting themselves at this stage while the most preferred option is for T.A.L.C to develop the process further to include a planting plan. This process is critical in obtaining the correct desired outcome for you.

BEFORE


STAGE THREE:Once the final design has been completed, contractors are invited to submit quotes to build the design. T.A.L.C’ s roll becomes very important here in co‐ordinating the right contractors at the right prices for the best results. Typical contractors can include; preparation for the site, paving/concrete/timber specialists, tree specialists, lighting & electricians, irrigation specialists, plant supply & horticultural planting specialists. T.A.L.C will co‐ordinate all these people together to come at the right times, and manage the work to a high standard. All work is signed off by the landscape architect before any progress payments are paid to contractors.Fees for T.A.LC vary due to complexity of each project and are estimated before work commences so that we can keepwithin your budget.STAGE FOUR:Ongoing maintenance of a landscapeis critical for the long term healthand benefits of the plants as well as the home . T.A.L.C can offer ongoing maintenance for both short term and long term results.Or we can come and checkquarterly per year to keep you on track as well as keep you up to date with new and innovative ideas services & products.
