Early YearsCreative dance and play for under 5’s and their adults. A chance for families to have creative fun together with hoops, feathers and fabric. Each session includes child friendly warm-ups, free play, action songs and a circle dance.
A music and movement class for 0 – 5 year olds. Join Emily for a fun filled and magical musical journey. Classes include singing together, instrument exploration, movement, musical fun, games and more.
Messy Colours: 31st January - mixing, making and playing with colours. Mini Beasts and Buzzy Bees: 28th March - Learn about and make some of your own teeny fuzzy friends to take home.
Fun story time with the Brewhouse story volunteers, a chance to meet other families and relax while your children make new friends. Come along in the morning to have fun together, get to know the theatre and explore our toy box.

Welcome to Spring at The Brewhouse!
The perfect time to learn something creative, start a new hobby and make new friends. This season we have all your favourite regular sessions plus a few new ones to try out. Aneta joins us for two flamenco classes and Maxine is starting Just a Number, a fabulous dance session for over 55’s. Hunkypunks, our Saturday Circus club for young people begins in January and Youth Jam is now a weekly meet up after a fantastic taster session last term. New workshop leaders join The Brewhouse team to teach you how to print a lampshade, make silver jewellery (perfect Mother’s Day gift!) and weave a willow sculpture. Plus book ahead for family activities in the February half term and Easter holidays, places go quickly so don’t miss out.

For anyone interested in devising, writing or performing. No previous experience is necessary - just come along, be creative, have fun and make new friends. New members are always welcome.
You don’t need to be able to read music or even own an instrument, anyone who wants to make music is welcome. Together we’ll explore music using instruments, voices, improvisation and sometimes music technology.
Our Youth Advisory Group gives you the chance to voice your opinion while helping to direct our youth programme and being an ambassador for the Brewhouse. We will also be watching and reviewing shows together.
An inspiring workshop providing a unique insight into the world of a professional dancer. Taught by and with artists of the Vienna Festival Ballet, start off with a short ballet class, learn parts from Giselle, see life back stage and take part in a Q&A with the dancers
A Saturday morning theatrical circus club for children and young people. The Brewhouse is excited to be nurturing the next generation of circus artists, so if you’ve been inspired by The Greatest Showman then this one is for you! Pocket Fluff will build on your performance skills including; juggling, acrobatics, balance & play. Plus there will even be exciting guest sessions from aerial instructors! Grab your pencil and meet us at the bar for our once a month drawing social, where you can have a few relaxing drinks while getting creative and scribbling out some ideas. Wednesday still isn’t Friday but this might help you through the week.
FIFTY BEES III is an exhibition held at The Brewhouse between 9th March – 6th May 2019. Textile Artist Lydia Needle sculpts fifty British Bees in wool and stitch to which
fifty other artists create responses to the ecology and hidden worlds of each individual bee. See the exhibition then join one of the bee inspired workshops and events below.
Come out and meet the talent behind your favorite bee inspired pieces. The artists will be here to share their stories and techniques. All art work is for sale so why not treat yourself at the same time?
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust hosts a talk entitled, ‘Plight of The Bumblebee’. Addressing current problems facing this enchanting and previously underestimated creature and how we can help. Followed by a 60min outdoor bumblebee safari, to identify different bees.
