TAIWAN'S SIX-YEAR DEVELOPMENT PLAN PROJECTS

The Taiwan Six-Year Development Plan (FY1992-1997) includes a total of 775projects budgeted at US$305 billion.

The following partial list of projects contained in the Six-Year Plancomprises 354 projects with a proposed budget of US$183,7 billion. AIT willprovide a complete list of Six-Year Plan projects as soon as the informationis available.

Projects scheduled to start in FY1992 or after are new projects in theSix-Year Plan. All other projects are on-going projects.

Taiwan authorities note that the projects in the Six-Year Plan are onlyproposed projects. For financial or other reasons? some of the projects inthe plan may not be implemented according to schedule.
