Work Experience Education: Visual Art Specialist at WhedCo : (September 2016 – Present) I developed and executed lesson plans for two different sections of a Visual Arts III after-school class comprised of middle-schoolers in grades 6 th -8 th . We covered basic drawing techniques, collage, sculpture, crafting, illustration, and more. Writing/Journalism: Staff Writer at F NewsMagazine: (March 2015 – May 2016) I wrote about political, social justice, and activist news for F NewsMagazine, a Chicago-based publication of arts, culture, and politics written, edited, and designed by the students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Interior Architecture: Intern at EGG + CHROME L.L.C. (August 2015 – January 2016) Trade operations: Placing trade orders, arranging shipping/payment of both major retailers and independent local shops, ordering from the mart and independent vendors, making site visits, and photographing interior and exterior spaces. Design (space, light, color, texture, mood) : quick sketching spacial layouts, creating InDesign presentation boards for residential, office, and commercial projects, Photoshop rendering spaces, and creating models in Google SketchUp. General: Research, artist residencies, and design firms, communication with vendors and clients, and more. Tattoo Industry: Co-Founder CEO of Black Atlas Studios (April 2014 – April 2016) Brand development, developing business plans and sales strategy, scheduling clients and conventions, managing funds, developing/maintaining customer relations and communications, social media outreach, and tattoo design. Retail Work: Lead Sales Associate at Jones NY at Fullerton (August 2014 – Dec. 2014) Sales/Stock Associate at Joe Fresh Madison Ave (August 2012 – April 2013) A3 Sales Associate/Supervisor at Uniqlo’s 5 th Ave. Global Flagship (October 2011 – June 2012) As a part of the supervisory team, I worked with the managerial staff to plan and execute the function of the store from day to day. My duties also included greeting, customer service, stock work, floor replenishment, managing layout changes, training new employees, cash-wrap (registers), management of cosmetics counter and make-up artistry, and more. Not for Profit Work: Intern at Susan G. Komen for the Cure: A Greater NYC (June 2009 – August 2009) Although mostly secretarial work, I also handled shipments of in-office supplies, distributed promotional products to sponsors across the city, greeted, engaged, and represented Komen’s to supporters and donors at fundraising events, and more.

Photo (June 2010–Oct. 2015)Photographed an outdoor reception for a retired NYS Judge, judicial portraits, parties, album art, interior design, architecture, U.S.M.C. ceremonies, and at least 20 still life studio shoots. Portfolio Work (Jun. 2010–Oct. 2015)

Performed the make-up and photography for body-painting shoots, a judicial portrait, college/audition headshots, modeling portfolio shoots, and many personal shoots.
