About SASKSONO17CONFERENCE DESCRIPTIONSASKSONO17 is an interactive day of instruction in ultrasonography designed to meet the learning needs of clinicians throughout the spectrum of patient care. This includes family physicians, specialist physicians, (surgeons, internists, intensivists, anethesiologists), medical residents, and students. It may be of interest to nurses, nurse practitioners, and paramedics. The conference incorporates a variety of learning formats to maximize hands-on applied skills sessions and individualized feedback from experienced clinicians.

CONFERENCE LEARNING OBJECTIVESParticipants will be able to:• Describe the role of clinical ultrasonography

across various disciplines, with a focus on acute and critical care

• Draw the right conclusions from new data, focusing on patient safety

• Effectively communicate POCUS findings to colleagues

• Apply learning in hands on sessions to improve techniques and interpretation
