Types of Health Plans Offered PPO and high-deductible health insurance plans continue to account for over 80% of all health plans

offered by employers. With the decreasing popularity of PPO plans, high-deductible plans has

become the most popular choice for health insurance plans.

Healthcare Cost Increases As in 2016, more than 1 in 3 companies (38%) reported an increase in last year premiums of less

than 3%. A similar portion of the participating organizations reported having no increase in

premiums compared to last year (20% vs 21%) but more organizations also reported having an

increase of greater than 12% (10% vs 16%).
