Stainless steel is the number one choice for cooking utensils. The specially hardened stainless

steel dishes made by TATONKA are robust, rust-free, antibacterial, taste-neutral and easy to clean.

Aluminium and titanium are perhaps a little lighter, but they do not have the same properties

as stainless steel; aluminium is not abrasion-resistant, it quickly oxidises and can be deformed

under intense heat or pressure. Titanium is very expensive and can lose its colour. Plus, the

very hard material cannot be shaped into more complex forms. Therefore, stainless steel is the

best choice.

Stainless steel products do, however, vary considerably in their quality. TATONKA cooking utensils

are manufactured using high-quality stainless steel SS 304 and set the standard, which is why

it is often imitated. Those who want to enjoy their equipment for a longer period of time, without
