Today’s Reflection: EL PENTECOSTES EN NUESTRAS VIDAS

El milagro de pentecostés consiste en que la Iglesia se transforma en la comunidad de Jesus. La presencia del Espiritu Santo se hace sentir en el compartir y el escu-char. La gran comunión viene hacer el nuevo horizonte, la nueva meta para la Iglesia, la comunidad de discípu-los.San Lucas nos señala con mucha claridad los signos del Espiritu Santo, el viento, el fuego, los estruendos son el modo como el evangelio nos avisa que hay cambios reales al hacerse presente, Dios en nuestro ambiente, en nuestras vidas y en nuestras relaciones con los demás. La dispersión de los pueblos (Babel) encuentra en Cristo el punto de partida y de llegada para la unidad y la concordia. Si oramos y esperamos, el Espiritu Santo vendrá sobre nuestras vidas y como en pentecostés to-dos nos entendemos, pues el amor será el idioma común de todos. Que Dios los bendiga,

of Mary and the entire Parish of St Mary’s, cordially invite

Ceremonies start 2:00pm. Mass is at 3pm, followed by

Street fair. Cardinal Joseph Tobin will be the main Cele-

Our food pantry has returned to St. Mary’s Church premises,

254 2nd Street, and will continue from there twice a month

on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month. Please take note of

that and pass the news to our recipients. Your donations to

the food pantry are welcome.
