PARISH TRUSTEE NOMINATIONS According to the bylaws of the State of Wisconsin, each parish must hold a public election for the position of trustee. Before the election takes place, registered parishioners are allowed to nominate candidates for the position. The trustees and the pastor, along with the Archbishop, are the legal members of the parish corporation. Currently the position of Parish Trustee – Treasurer is held by Fran Zappitelli, and the position of Parish Trustee – Secretary is held by Martha Cucco. Each trustee serves a two year term. Martha’s term is up on June 30, 2019, and so I am opening the nomination process for the position of Parish Trustee – Secretary. As pastor, I am allowed to nominate a candidate for the open position. Martha is willing to stay on as Trustee-Secretary, and I am happy to recommend her. Additional candidates are welcome and must be nominated by at least 10 active parishioners and submitted to me by June 17. The bylaws state that a candidate must be a parish member, practicing Catholics and at least 25 years of age. Nomination forms may be obtained in the church office. The names of the nominees will be announced on the weekend of June 22 and 23. The following weekend of June 29 and 30, the election for this position will take place. If you have any questions on the nomination process, do not hesitate to contact me. Fr. Mark Danczyk

ALL NIGHT EUCHARISTIC ADORATION VIGIL 7 p.m. Monday, June 17 through 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18

Will you come and join us, in spending one hour with Jesus? “If souls but understood the treasure they possess in the divine Eucharist, it would be necessary to encircle the tabernacles with the strongest ramparts, for – in the delirium of a devouring holy hunger – they would press forward themselves to feed on the bread of Angels. The churches would overflow with adorers consumed with love for the divine Person no less by night than by day.” ~ BL. Dina Belanger “The life of our dear Lord in the sacred Host is most active…Our Lord works miracles both on souls and bodies. Our divine Lord, thus present In the sacrament of His love, is the central object of the devotion and worship of the holy Catholic Church. From His Sacred Heart, present in the tabernacle, go forth streams of grace upon human souls that lift them up in prayer and adoration to the throne of God…He is in the same actual state, now, in the tabernacle, as He was on the morning of His resurrection, and when He was parted from His apostles on Ascension Day.” ~ St. Francis Aloysius Spencer The intent of this time with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, is to praise Him and thank Him for the many blessings in our lives. We will pray for our St. Francis de Sales parish families to grow in holiness, for our priests, protection of our children, an end to human trafficking, peace throughout the world, an end to violence, indifference and hatred, an end to abortion, more vocations and for perseverance for our seminarians. Let us pray for those who have asked us for prayer, family members, all who are suffering and for the holy souls in purgatory. Let us pray in reparation for sins against the Sacred Heart of Jesus. What does one do during Eucharistic Adoration? Come to kneel before Our Lord in adoration; in silence, talk to Our Lord and “listen” for His response…just as you would talk to a dear friend! Give your heart to Jesus and ask Him for the graces you need to heal you from the areas in your life that offend Him; to grow in holiness and to increase your faith, hope and love! May the light of Our Lord come into your hearts and your minds as you kneel before Him. We need adorers to cover every hour of adoration from 7 p.m. Monday evening through 6:30 am Tuesday morning. Please pray about this opportunity to spend time with Our Lord and email [email protected] (262-248-9254) or [email protected] (262-949-2384), to commit to one hour of adoration…thank you!
