Systematic development of scientific and practical center of children and youth correcting, rehabilitation and growth Idea of the project: systematic development of scientific and practical center of children and youth correction, rehabilitation and growth by introduction of complex system of medical, psychosocial, rehabilitating and educative actions with the use of projective and reflective, correctional and compensatory technologies planned for part or absolute elimination of personal disabilities and if it is possible, recovery of social status, providing of further social adaptation of children and youth primarily with special needs. Reasoning The existing conceptual model of education is typical for educational establishments of special type and urgently requires the unification with the social model, the main aim of which is to involve individuals with certain disabilities to diversified educational fields, to implement a differentiated approach to meet their educational needs, to augment the number of specialist who will skillfully provide quality of education, growth and support of children, youth and their families in different spheres of life The concept “inclusion” means that early involvement of individuals to common social conditions motivates them to develop such qualities as : independence, self-confidence, courage etc. making them equal members of society, and helping to realize their importance first of all for themselves, for their relatives, for society, for the country. In the latest time the system of inclusive interaction of children with specific psychological and physical development with their healthy age-mates is intensively developing in Ukraine. It demands expanding of social, medical, and pedagogical help such as: providing of free access to qualified education and to different life spheres, creating conditions for the fullest possible disclosure and the highest possible level of intellectual, spiritual and physical development. Taking into account the facts listed earlier, it would also be reasonable to create and gradually develop a specialized educational establishment, based on implementation of complex system of medical, psychosocial, rehabilitating, educational and pedagogical methods with the use of projective and reflexive, correctional and compensatory technologies, aimed to partial or full recovery of personal disabilities, and if it possible, partial or full compensation of vital activities, recovery of social status, providing of future social adaptation of children and youth, first of all for the ones with special needs, on the basis of humanization and personality-oriented approach. ІINITIATOR Scientific and practical center of children and youth correcting, rehabilitation, and growth of Kherson State University PLACE OF REALIZATION Kherson State University ,Scientific and Practical children and youth correcting, rehabilitation and growth Infrastructure and resources Scientific and practical center of children and youth correcting is created and functions as a structural unit which is administratively subordinate to Faculty of Natural Science, Human Health and Tourism of Kherson State University. TOTAL COST OF THE PROJECT 20.000 $ AMOUNT OF INVESTMENT NEEDS Capital repair of accommodations, purchase of specialized equipment, wages for external experts according to the contract service providing, organization of seminars, trainings, conferences, publication of scientific and methodological literature. PAY-BACK PERIOD – 5 years ADVANTAGES OF THE PROJECT Important social significance, namely the optimization of medical, social, psychological system, partial or absolute recovery of vital activity and social status of children and youth first of all for those who have special needs. EXPECTED RESULT Efficient organizational and pedagogical work of the center as a new type institution; Realization of complex system of medical, social and psychological means; Forming of key competences as a result of complex rehabilitation of students with disabilities; Experimental verification of the complex rehabilitation efficiency for students with health disabilities ( forming of key life competences for their integration into society); Development of methodological recommendations concerning the mentioned issue.
